- Kutukan Superman adalah sebuah kepercayaan kalau suatu malapetaka akan menimpa orang-orang yang terlibat dalam karakter Superman yang disajikan berbagai media, terutama film. Kutukan ini pada dasarnya berbunyi: "Jika kamu berniat untuk memerankan manusia terkuat di dunia, maka kamu akan berakhir dengan kematian atau berada pada posisi yang terlemah." Kutukan ini konon bermula dari pencipta karakter Superman sendiri, Jerry Siegel dan Joe Shuster. Siegel dan Shuster menciptakan tokoh Superman pada tahun 1938. Secondo la maledizione, se si interpreta Superman, si muore di una morte prematura o si finisce in gravi condizioni. Nonostante ciò, diversi attori correlati a Superman, come Dean Cain, Teri Hatcher, Bud Collyer, Brandon Routh ed Henry Cavill, hanno avuto una carriera di successo anche dopo la loro correlazione con la maledizione.
