- The State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG) (Georgian: სახელმწიფო უსაფრთხოების სამსახური, SUS) is a state intelligence agency of Georgia, which covers a broad spectrum of tasks to preserve national security in accordance to state legislature and relevant laws. Its missions are to protect the constitutional order, sovereignty, territorial integrity and military potential of Georgia from illegal acts of special services and individuals of foreign countries; to prevent violent and unconstitutional change of order and state authority. Further it is to ensure economic security and fight terrorism on national and international level, transnational organized crime and international crime as well as carry out measures towards prevention, detection and suppression of corruption. The agency is also responsible for protecting state secrets. The newly established independent agency is a former subordinate branch of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and has been re-activated in 2015. The chief of the agency reports directly to the Prime Minister. (en)

Ses missions sont de protéger l'ordre constitutionnel, la souveraineté, l'intégrité territoriale et le potentiel militaire de la Géorgie contre les actes illégaux des services spéciaux et des individus de pays étrangers ; pour empêcher les changements d'ordre et d'autorité étatiques violents et inconstitutionnels. Il s'agit en outre d'assurer la sécurité économique et de lutter contre le terrorisme aux niveaux national et international, la criminalité transnationale organisée et la criminalité internationale, ainsi que de prendre des mesures de prévention, de détection et de répression de la corruption. Il est également responsable de la protection des secrets d'État. L'agence indépendante créée en 2015 est une ancienne branche subordonnée du ministère des Affaires intérieures de Géorgie. (fr)
- Служба государственной безопасности Грузии (ранее — Министерство государственной безопасности) — спецслужба Грузии, занимающаяся обеспечением национальной безопасности, контрразведкой, антикоррупционной и антитеррористической деятельностью. Служба государственной безопасности (СГБ) контролируется парламентом и правительством. Основные функции СГБ — выявление, пресечение и расследование относящихся к её компетенции преступлений, а также анализ ожидаемых угроз, рисков и вызовов, защита конституционного строя, суверенитета, территориальной целостности, научно-экономического и военного потенциала Грузии от противоправных действий спецслужб иностранных государств и отдельных лиц. В функции спецслужбы входят обеспечение экономической безопасности страны и борьба с терроризмом. Глава Службы госбезопасности по представлению правительства избирается парламентом сроком на шесть лет не более чем на два срока. С 1 августа 2015 года главой СГБ является Вахтанг Гомелаури. (ru)
