März 1977 in Manaus) ist ein brasilianischer Sprinter. 2005 gewann er bei der Universiade in Izmir Bronze über 100 m. 2007 siegte er bei den über 200 m und in der 4-mal-100-Meter-Staffel. Auch bei den Panamerikanischen Spielen in Rio de Janeiro war er mit der brasilianischen Stafette siegreich. Bei den Leichtathletik-Weltmeisterschaften in Ōsaka schied er über 100 m im Vorlauf und über 200 m im Viertelfinale aus und kam mit der brasilianischen Stafette auf den vierten Platz. Bei den Olympischen Spielen 2008 schied er erneut über 100 m in der Vorrunde aus, erreichte über 200 m das Viertelfinale und errang mit der Stafette die Bronzemedaille. 2009 scheiterte er bei den WM in Berlin über 200 m im Vorlauf und belegte mit der Stafette den siebten Platz. 2011 holte er bei den Leichtathletik-Südamerikameisterschaften in Buenos Aires Bronze über 100 m und Gold in der 4-mal-100-Meter-Staffel. Bei den WM in Daegu wurde er über 200 m im Halbfinale disqualifiziert, und bei den Panamerikanischen Spielen in Guadalajara wurde er Siebter über 200 m und verteidigte mit der brasilianischen Stafette den Titel. Bei den Olympischen Spielen 2012 in London kam er über 200 m und in der 4-mal-100-Meter-Staffel nicht über die erste Runde hinaus. (de)

- Sandro Ricardo Rodrigues Viana (born March 26, 1977 in Manaus) is a track and field sprint athlete who competes internationally for Brazil. Viana represented Brazil at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. He competed at the 100 metres sprint and placed 6th in his heat without advancing to the second round. He ran the distance in a time of 10.60 seconds. Together with José Carlos Moreira, Vicente de Lima and Bruno de Barros he also competed at the 4x100 metres relay. In their qualification heat they placed fourth behind Trinidad and Tobago, Japan and the Netherlands. Their time of 39.01 was the seventh out of sixteen participating nations in the first round and they qualified for the final. There they sprinted to a time of 38.24 seconds, the fourth time after the Jamaican, Trinidad and Japanese teams. He also took part in the 200 metres individual, finishing fourth in his first round heat, with a time of 20.84 seconds. With 21.07 seconds in the second round he only placed seventh in his heat, which was not enough to qualify for the semi finals. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he again competed in the 200 metres and the men's 4 × 100 m relay. He did not reach beyond the heats in the 200 m and the Brazilian men's 4 × 100 m team missed out on the final by 0.06 of a second. Viana would retroactively be awarded the bronze medal for the 4 × 100 metres relay at the 2008 Summer Olympics following the demotion in 2017 of the Jamaican team for Nesta Carter's failed anti-doping test. - Sandro Ricardo Rodrigues Viana (Manaus, 26 de março de 1977) é um velocista brasileiro. Sandro iniciou sua carreira em 2001, em Manaus. Mesmo aos 24 anos (idade avançada para começar a carreira), ele treinou ao lado de crianças e conseguiu evoluir. Quatro anos depois, Sandro saiu de Manaus para São Paulo para poder treinar. No mesmo ano conquistou a medalha de bronze na Universíade de Verão de 2005 em Izmir, na Turquia. Fez parte da equipe que conquistou o ouro no revezamento 4x100 metros nos Jogos Pan-Americanos de 2007. Além disso, disputou os 200 metros, sendo desclassificado na final por sair de sua raia. Foi finalista dos 4x100 metros no Campeonato Mundial de Atletismo de 2007 em Osaka (4º lugar, 37s99), de 2009 em Berlim (7º lugar, 38s56) e de 2011 em Daegu (não completou). Integrou a equipe brasileira de revezamento 4x100 metros nos Jogos Olímpicos de Pequim 2008, que obteve o quarto lugar. Entretanto, o jamaicano Nesta Carter foi pego no exame anti-doping, e o time jamaicano que conquistou a medalha de ouro nessa prova foi desclassificado, o que fez com que o quarteto brasileiro composto por Bruno Lins, Vicente Lenílson, José Carlos Moreira e Sandro Viana herdasse a medalha de bronze dos Jogos Olímpicos de Pequim 2008. Integrando a delegação que disputou os Jogos Pan-Americanos de 2011 em Guadalajara, no México, ganhou o ouro na prova do 4x100 metros masculino, junto com Ailson Feitosa, Nilson André e Bruno Lins. Seu recorde pessoal nos 200 metros é 20s32 em 22 de maio de 2008, em São Paulo, quando venceu o GP São Paulo Caixa. Tem 10s11 nos 100 metros, alcançados em Bogotá em 24 de julho de 2009. (pt)
