- L' accord du Renville est un accord signé entre les Pays-Bas et la république d'Indonésie sous les auspices du Conseil de sécurité des Nations unies. Ratifié le 17 janvier 1948, cet accord était une tentative de résolution des litiges apparus à la suite de l'accord de Linggarjati signé en 1946. Il établissait un cessez-le-feu le long d'une ligne, dite « ligne Van Mook », du nom du gouverneur général néerlandais, qui reliait les positions néerlandaises les plus avancées. L'accord porte le nom du USS Renville, le navire de guerre américain stationné en baie de Jakarta, sur lequel les négociations s'étaient tenues. (fr)
- The Renville Agreement was a United Nations Security Council-brokered political accord between the Netherlands, which was seeking to re-establish its colony in South East Asia, and Indonesian Republicans seeking for Indonesian independence during the Indonesian National Revolution. Ratified on 17 January 1948, the agreement was an unsuccessful attempt to resolve the disputes that arose following the 1946 Linggadjati Agreement. It recognised a cease-fire along the Status Quo Line (Status Quo lijn) or so-called "Van Mook Line", an artificial line which connected the most advanced Dutch positions. The agreement is named after USS Renville, the ship on which the negotiations were held while anchored in Jakarta Bay. (en)

- De Renville-overeenkomst was een politiek akkoord, door de Veiligheidsraad van de Verenigde Naties (VN) aangedragen, tussen Nederland en Indonesische Republikeinen. De overeenkomst is van kracht geworden op 17 januari 1948. Het was een vervolg op de overeenkomst van Linggadjati uit 1946. Ze leidde tot een wapenstilstand door het instellen van de zogenaamde ‘Van Mook-grenzen’ en beëindigde de eerste politionele actie van de Nederlandse strijdkrachten. De grenzen op Java gaven de gebieden aan die door Nederland of door de Republik Indonesia beheerst werden. De naam van de overeenkomst is afkomstig van het Amerikaanse marine transportschip dat als hoofdkwartier van de VN-wapenstilstandscommissie geankerd lag in de baai van Jakarta. (nl)
