- العرب السيؤون: كيف تسيء هوليوود للشعوب (بالإنجليزية: Reel Bad Arabs: How Hollywood Vilifies a People) ، هو فيلم وثائقي موسوعي من إخراج سوت جهالي ((Sut Jhally وإنتاج Media Education Foundation سنة 2006، هي فيلم وثائقي أمريكي. يعتبر هذا الفيلم امتداداً لكتاب الدكتور جاك شاهين الذي يحمل العنوان ونفسه ويطرح الموضوع ذاته ألا وهو تشويه هوليوود لصورة العرب. هذا الفيلم الوثائقي الرائد يشرح جانب الافتراء على العرب في التاريخ السينمائي الأمريكي الذي وجد منذ الأيام الأولى للسينما الصامتة إلى أكبر وأضخم أفلام هوليوود في أيامنا هذه. يحلل الدكتور جاك شاهين سلسلة طويلة من الصور المهينة للعرب من خلال عرضه لمشاهد من أفلام أمريكية قام بدراستها –هذه الصورة المتمثلة بكون العرب قطاع الطرق أو البدو أوالنساء العربيات الراقصات المنقادات إلى شيوخ شريرة وساذجة أوالصورة العربية الأهم وهي صورة البندقية في يد العرب «الإرهابيين» – ثم يقدم الفيلم أفكارا مدمرة كانت السبب في أصل هذه الصور النمطية، وتنميتها في نقاط رئيسية في تاريخ الولايات المتحدة، ولماذا هي بهذا القدر من الأهمية اليوم. عرض الفيلم لأول مرة في واشنطن في 8 June 2007 ومن ثم عرض في لوس أنجلوس في 20 June 2007. مدة عرض الفيلم هي 50 دقيقة، مع ترجمة عربية وإنجليزية. ثم توالى عرض الفيلم في أكثر من عشر مهرجانات سنمائية دولية ما بين الأعوام 2006 – 2009 خمنت ميزانية الفيلم بأنها حوالي $100,000 (ar)
- Reel Bad Arabs ist eine Dokumentation aus dem Jahre 2006 von Sut Jhally, welche auf dem Buch Reel Bad Arabs von beruht. Der Autor Jack Shaheen begleitet den Zuschauer auch als Sprecher durch den Film. Die 50-minütige Dokumentation beschäftigt sich mit der Darstellung von Arabern in Hollywoodfilmen und der Verquickung Hollywoods mit der Außenpolitik der amerikanischen Regierung. Laut Auffassung des Autors ist diese Darstellung verzerrt und sie bedient rassistische, islamophobe, fremdenfeindliche Klischees.Der Dokumentation liegt die Analyse von über 900 Spielfilmen zugrunde. Jhally zeigt dabei immer wieder Ausschnitte von Filmszenen, um Shaheens Thesen zu belegen. (de)

- Reel Bad Arabs: How Hollywood Vilifies a People is a documentary film directed by Sut Jhally and produced by Media Education Foundation in 2006. This film is an extension of the book of the same name by Jack Shaheen, which also analyzes how Hollywood corrupts or manipulates the image of Arabs. The documentary analyzes 1,000 films that have Arab and Muslim characters, produced between 1896 to 2000, out of which great majority, 936 titles, were negative in their portrayal, arguing that the slander of Arabs in American filmmaking has existed since the early days of the silent cinema and is present in the biggest Hollywood blockbusters today. Jack Shaheen analyzes a long series of "demeaning" images of Arabs through his presentation of various scenes from different American movies which he has studied. He argues that this image is characterized by showing Arabs either as bandits or as a savage, nomadic race, or shows Arab women as shallow belly dancers serving evil, naïve, and greedy Arab sheiks. Most important is the image of the rifle in the hands of Arab "terrorists". The film then attempts to explain the motivations behind these stereotypes about Arabs, and their development at key points in American history, as well as why it is so important today. The film showed for the first time in Washington on 8 June 2007 and then in Los Angeles in the 20 June 2007. The run time of the film is 50 minutes, with Arabic and English subtitles. Soon afterward, the film was shown successively in more than a dozen of international film festivals between 2006 and 2009 The film's estimated budget is $100,000. (en)
