- El Partido Patriota (en polaco: Stronnictwo Patriotyczne), también conocido como Partido Reformista, fue un movimiento político presente en la República de las Dos Naciones durante el Gran Sejm de 1788 a 1792, siendo el encargado de elaborar la Constitución del 3 de mayo de 1791, la Constitución más antigua de Europa y la segunda más antigua del mundo tras la de los Estados Unidos. Los reformistas del Partido Patriota, liderados por Ignacy Potocki, procuraron resolver la profunda crisis económica, política y social presente en la Mancomunidad, además de reforzar su ejército y para reducir la influencia política extranjera, particularmente del Imperio Ruso. Es considerado el primer partido político de Polonia, aunque carecía de una estructura formal completamente organizada. El Partido se inspiró en los ideales de la Revolución Francesa, apoyando el republicanismo y fomentando la presencia del pueblo en la política. El Partido Patriota dejó de existir poco después de la aprobación de la Constitución, cuando los confederados de Targowica, formado en su mayoría por nobles de la Szlachta polaca que habían perdido poder a causa de la abolición de la Libertad Dorada, pidieron ayuda a los rusos, que provocaron una guerra en 1792 para derrocar al gobierno en manos del Partido Patriota. - The Patriotic Party (Polish: Stronnictwo Patriotyczne), also known as the Patriot Party or, in English, as the Reform Party, was a political movement in the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth in the period of the Four-Year Sejm (Great Sejm) of 1788–1792, whose chief achievement was the Constitution of 3 May 1791. The reformers aimed to strengthen the ailing political machinery of the Commonwealth, to bolster its military, and to reduce foreign political influence, particularly that of the Russian Empire. It has been called the first Polish political party, though it had no formal organizational structure. The Party was inspired by the ideals of the French Revolution, and its name, proudly used by themselves, was a tribute to the Dutch Patriots. The Patriotic Party ceased to exist soon after the adoption of the Constitution when, in the War in Defense of the Constitution, the Targowica Confederates, backed by the Russians, overthrew the reformed government. In 1795 the Third Partition of Poland ended the Commonwealth's independent existence. Many of the movement's leaders emigrated abroad. (en)
- Le Parti patriotique (en polonais: Stronnictwo Patriotyczne) est un mouvement politique de la République des Deux Nations créé durant la Grande Diète de quatre ans (1788-1792), dont la principale réalisation est la Constitution du 3 mai 1791. Les membres du parti patriotique cherchaient à renforcer le gouvernement de la République, développer son armée et réduire l'ingérence de la politique étrangère, en particulier celle de l'Empire russe. Bien que n'ayant aucune structure organisationnelle formelle, leur mouvement est considéré comme le premier parti politique polonais. Il est inspiré par les idéaux de la Révolution française. L'aile droite du Parti patriotique, représenté par Ignacy Potocki, Stanisław Kostka Potocki et Adam Kazimierz Czartoryski, s'opposait au roi Stanisław August Poniatowski, trop proche de la Russie, et espérait renforcer le pouvoir de la Diète. L'aile gauche regroupée autour de Hugo Kołłątaj préconisait des réformes sociales et cherchait l'appui de la bourgeoisie. Le centre, représenté par le président de la Diète Stanisław Małachowski, recherchait un accord avec le roi, ce qui fut obtenu en 1790 grâce au ralliement d'Ignacy Potocki. Peu après l'adoption de la Constitution du 3 mai 1791 éclate une guerre qui oppose les défenseurs de la Constitution aux aristocrates polonais soucieux de leurs privilèges de magnats, confédérés à Targowica. La Russie appelée à l'aide par les confédérés de Targowica, renverse le gouvernement réformateur. Le Parti patriotique cesse d'exister lorsque, en 1795, le troisième partage de la Pologne met fin à l'indépendance de la République. Beaucoup de dirigeants du mouvement émigrent à l'étranger. (fr)

- Stronnictwo Patriotyczne lub obóz reform – nieformalne ugrupowanie polityków, skupiające działaczy dążących do przeprowadzenia reform w czasie Sejmu Wielkiego (1788-1792). Główne wspólne postulaty obozu reform to: powiększenie armii do 100 tys., zniesienie Rady Nieustającej, uniezależnienie od Imperium Rosyjskiego, zniesienie liberum veto i wolnej elekcji. Nazwa stronnictwa wzorowana była na ugrupowaniu Patriotów w Holandii. Prawica Patriotycznego Stronnictwa reprezentowana przez Ignacego i Stanisława Kostkę Potockich oraz Adama Kazimierza Czartoryskiego szukała oparcia w Królestwie Prus i występowała przeciw królowi Stanisławowi Augustowi Poniatowskiemu, dążąc do wzmocnienia władzy sejmu. Lewica skupiona wokół podkanclerzego koronnego księdza Hugona Kołłątaja (Kuźnica Kołłątajowska, jakobini polscy) opowiadała się za reformami społecznymi i poszukiwała oparcia w mieszczaństwie. Reprezentowane przez marszałka sejmu Stanisława Małachowskiego centrum, dążyło do ugody z królem, co udało się w 1790 roku dzięki zmianie stanowiska przez Ignacego Potockiego. (pl)
