- Joachim Jean-Marie Forget (né Kim Jae Duk; born 15 April 1983), known as Joachim Son-Forget (/sɒn ˈfɔːrʒeɪ/ son FOR-zhay, French: [ʒɔakim sɔn fɔʁʒɛ]) is a South Korean-born French politician. Holding a doctorate in neuroscience, he also works part-time as a radiologist in Switzerland. He has held Kosovar citizenship since 2018. Adopted by a French family as a child, Son-Forget was previously active within the Socialist Party (PS), then liberal party La République En Marche! (LREM) until he resigned from the party in late 2018. He then founded his own political party Valeur Absolue, and since 2021 has been involved alongside far-right party Reconquête. Son-Forget has variously labeled himself a liberal, a right-winger, a supporter of the European Union and of French President Emmanuel Macron. Since his election as a member of the National Assembly in 2017, Son-Forget has made multiple appearances in interviews and talk shows and is an active user of social media. On the Internet, his publishing of satirical content and memes drew attention from the press; his use of social media has been described as "trolling" by various media outlets, and has been the subject of within French politics. Il est élu député dans la circonscription des Français établis en Suisse et au Liechtenstein en 2017. Il se fait remarquer à partir de l'année 2018 par de multiples polémiques, qui causent son départ de LREM en 2018, puis du groupe UDI, Agir et indépendants, qu'il avait rejoint peu après. En 2022, il rejoint le parti d'extrême droite Reconquête d'Éric Zemmour et soutient la candidature de ce dernier à l'élection présidentielle. Il n'est pas réélu lors des élections législatives de la même année. (fr)
