- Las fortificaciones de Senglea ( en maltés, Is-Swar tal-Isla ) son una serie de muros defensivos y otras fortificaciones que rodean la ciudad de Senglea, Malta. La primera fortificación que se construyó fue el Fuerte de San Miguel en 1552, y la mayoría de las fortificaciones se construyeron durante la siguiente década cuando fue fundada por el Gran Maestre Claude de la Sengle. Las modificaciones continuaron hasta el siglo XVIII, pero gran parte de las fortificaciones fueron demolidas entre los siglos XIX y XX. Hoy, todo lo que queda de las fortificaciones de Senglea son los bastiones que dan al mar y parte del frente terrestre. Las fortificaciones de Senglea han estado en la lista provisional de sitios del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO de Malta desde 1998, como parte de las Fortificaciones de los Caballeros alrededor de los Puertos de Malta. The first fortification to be built was Fort Saint Michael in 1552, and the majority of the fortifications were built over the next decade when it was founded by Grand Master Claude de la Sengle. Modifications continued until the 18th century, but large parts of the fortifications were demolished between the 19th and 20th centuries. Today, all that remain of Senglea's fortifications are the seaward bastions and part of the land front. Senglea's fortifications have been on Malta's tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1998, as part of the Knights' Fortifications around the Harbours of Malta. (en)

Pierwszym elementem umocnień był, zbudowany w roku 1552, Fort Saint Michael. Większość fortyfikacji powstała w następnej dekadzie, z fundacji Wielkiego Mistrza Claude de la Sengle. Budowle były modyfikowane do XVIII w., lecz znaczna część fortyfikacji została zburzona między XIX i XX w. Dzisiaj jedynymi pozostałościami po systemie obronnym Senglei są bastiony od strony morza oraz część umocnień frontowych.
