- Kvintsextakord je termín ze všeobecné hudební nauky. Používá se pro první obrat septakordu. Nejspodnějším tónem kvintsextakordu je tercie (druhý tón odspodu) v původním septakordu, původní základní tón je v nejjednodušším tvaru kvintsextakordu tónem nejvyšším. Každý septakord má tři obraty.
