"Eddie" Barsky) (من مواليد 6 يونيو 1895 - تُوفى 11 فبراير 1975) وهو جراح أمريكي وناشط سياسي. كان بارسكي رئيس اللجنة المشتركة لمناهضة الفاشية، وهي منظمة يرعاها الحزب الشيوعي الأمريكي الذي جمع الأموال لمساعدة اللاجئين من النظام الفرنسي في أواخر الثلاثينيات خلال الحرب الأهلية الإسبانية. És recordat sobretot per haver estat el cap del (Joint Anti-Fascist Refugee Committee), una organització finançada pel Partit Comunista dels Estats Units que recollia fons per ajudar els refugiats republicans durant la Guerra Civil espanyola. Els anys 50 del segle xx, fou víctima del maccarthisme, que el va arribar a empresonar en negar-se a donar informació al Comitè d'Activitats Anti-americanes. (ca)

Barsky is best remembered as the head of the Joint Anti-Fascist Refugee Committee, a Communist Party-sponsored organization which raised funds to aid refugees from the regime of Spanish strongman Francisco Franco in the late 1930s during the Spanish Civil War. In the 1950s Barsky became a cause célèbre as a victim of McCarthyism when he was imprisoned for refusing to provide information to the House Un-American Activities Committee. (en)
