- Der 2. Bundesvision Song Contest fand am 9. Februar 2006 in der Mittelhessen-Arena in Wetzlar statt. Die Show wurde von Stefan Raab und Janin Reinhardt moderiert. Co-Moderator war Elton. Die zweite Ausgabe des Wettbewerbs gewann die Gruppe Seeed mit dem Beitrag Ding für Berlin, auf den weiteren Plätzen folgten die Pop-Rockgruppe Revolverheld aus Bremen und die Mittelalter-Rockband In Extremo aus Thüringen. 14 von 16 Ländern vergaben bei der Abstimmung an sich selbst 12 Punkte. Nicht die höchste Punktzahl gaben sich Sachsen mit 10 Punkten und Nordrhein-Westfalen mit 5 Punkten. Die Show wurde von durchschnittlich 2,48 Millionen Zuschauern gesehen (9,1 % Marktanteil). In der werberelevanten Zielgruppe der 14- bis 49-Jährigen konnten 2,14 Millionen Zuschauer gemessen werden (18,3 % Marktanteil). (de)
- The Bundesvision Song Contest 2006 was the second edition of the annual Bundesvision Song Contest musical event. The contest was held on 9 February 2006 at the Mittelhessen-Arena in Wetzlar, Hesse, following Juli's win in the 2005 contest in North Rhine-Westphalia with the song "Geile Zeit". The contest was hosted by Stefan Raab, Janin Reinhardt, and Elton in the green room. The winner of the Bundesvision Song Contest 2006 was the band Seeed with the song "Ding", representing Berlin. In second place were Revolverheld representing Bremen, and third place to In Extremo representing Thuringia. 14 of the 16 states awarded themselves the maximum of 12 points, with Saxony, and North Rhine-Westphalia, awarding themselves 10, and 5 points each respectively. The contest was broadcast by ProSieben and watched by 2.48 million people (9.1% market share). In the 14-49 age range 2.14 million viewers watched the show (18.3% market share). (en)

- La seconda edizione del Bundesvision Song Contest si è svolta il 9 febbraio 2006 presso la di Wetzlar, nel länder, in seguito alla vittoria dei Juli nell'edizione precedente, e ha visto competere i 16 länder della Germania. Il concorso si è articolato in un'unica finale condotta da Stefan Raab, e (quest'ultimo come inviato nella green room). I vincitori sono stati i Seeed per il Berlino con il brano Ding. Come è già accaduto nell'edizione precedente, 14 dei 16 Länder partecipanti si sono autoassegnati il massimo punteggio (12 punti), perché ci fu la possibilità di votare il proprio stato. Gli unici che non si sono auto assegnati i 12 punti sono stati la Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia e la Sassonia, che si sono attribuiti rispettivamente 10 e 5 punti. Lo show è stato trasmesso da ProSieben ed è stato visto da 2,48 milioni di persone con il 9,1% di share; nella fascia 14-49 anni i telespettatori sono stati 2,19 milioni con il 18,3% di share. (it)
