- البيانات الثنائية أو (بالانجليزية: Binary data) هي البيانات التي يمكن ان تاخذ احتمالين ممكننين فقط. وهما الصفر 0 أو الواحد 1 وفقا لنظام العد الثنائيو الجبر البولياني وتتضح أشكال وتفسيرات البيانات الثنائية في مختلف المجالات التقنية والعلمية، ويمكن تسمية هذه الوحدة ذات القيمة الثانية:
* تسمى على انها بتفي مجال علوم الحاسوب.
* تسمى قيمة الحقيقة في مجال المنطق رياضي.
* وتسمى في مجال الاحصاء. (ar)

- Los datos binarios son datos cuya unidad puede tomar solo dos estados posibles, tradicionalmente etiquetados como 0 y 1 de acuerdo con el sistema de numeración binario y el álgebra de Boole. Los datos binarios se producen en muchos campos técnicos y científicos diferentes, donde pueden llamarse con diferentes nombres:
* "Bit" (dígito binario) en informática,
* "Valor de verdad" en y dominios relacionados.

- Dane binarne (ang. binary data) – dane zapisane lub przesyłane w postaci takiej jak są reprezentowane w systemie komputerowym, w przeciwieństwie do danych przesyłanych z użyciem systemów kodowania znaków, np. alfanumerycznie. Dane binarne zazwyczaj zajmują mniej miejsca niż dane zapisane alfanumerycznie. Możliwe jest też znacznie wydajniejsze przetwarzanie tak zapisanych danych, gdyż nie istnieje konieczność tłumaczenia odczytywanych danych z postaci alfanumerycznej na binarną i odwrotnie. Dane zapisane binarnie nie są zazwyczaj czytelne dla człowieka bez stosowania specjalizowanych narzędzi umożliwiających ich zinterpretowanie. (pl)
