- تلفزيون أبوظبي، جزء من شركة أبوظبي للإعلام التي حلت عام 2008 بديلا عن مؤسسة الإمارات للإعلام التي أسست عام 1999 وكانت تملكها بالكامل حكومة أبوظبي وتضم إلى جانب قناة أبوظبي، قناة أبوظبي الرياضية وقناة أبوظبي الإمارات وإذاعة أبوظبي وإذاعة القران الكريم وإذاعة إمارات fm وجريدة الاتحاد ومجلة زهرة الخليج ومجلة ماجد للأطفال وصحيفة the national الصادرة باللغة الإنجليزية تسعى إدارة المرناة (التلفزيون) للقيام بدور رائد ومتميز في تطوير جميع القنوات الفضائية ونقل الإعلام التلفزيوني لدولة الإمارات إلى فضاء عربي واسع. كما تعمل على مواجهة تحديات المستقبل في مجالات الإنتاج التلفزيوني والمساهمة بالنهوض بالإعلام والثقافة في الدولة ونشر الرسالة الإعلامية والمرئية بما يحقق أوسع انتشار لها داخل الدولة وخارجها والمساهمة بالنهوض بالإعلام والثقافة، إضافة إلى المحافظة على المصداقية وإيصال الرسالة الإعلامية الهادفة. وتعتبر قناة أبو ظبي الفضائية هي الامتداد الأول لمرناة الإمارات العربية المتحدة من أبوظبي إلى جانب القنوات الأخرى. حيث بدأ المرناة (التلفزيون) إرساله (الأبيض والأسود) في أغسطس 1969م وبدأ إرساله الملوّن بنظام بال في 4 ديسمبر 1974. وهو أول محطة تلفزيونية في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة. ومرناة دولة الإمارات من أبوظبي عضو مؤسس في وفي اتحاد إذاعات الدول العربية واتحاد الدول الإسلامية واتحاد إذاعات الدول الآسيوية، وعضو منتسب في اتحاد إذاعات الدول الأوروبية. It broadcasts from Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, and is owned by Abu Dhabi Media. Abu Dhabi TV is managed by the Abu Dhabi Media. Through its previous attachment to the Ministry of Information and Culture since 1999 and current attachment to Abu Dhabi Media in which the ministry was scrapped in February 2006. Abu Dhabi TV presents news bulletins every three hours. Abu Dhabi TV is broadcast throughout the Arab World, North America, Europe, South America, and Australia. (en)
- Abu Dhabi TV (en arabe : قناة أبوظبي) est une chaîne de télévision émiratie diffusée depuis Abou Dabi, capitale des Émirats arabes unis. Fondée en 1969 sous le nom de Abu Dhabi TV elle appartient au groupe Abu Dhabi Media Company. Chaîne de format généraliste, elle mêle séries arabes, films, jeux télévisés, émissions de variétés, programmes pour enfants, sport, documentaires, reportages, débats et bulletins d'information, diffusés toutes les trois heures. Les grands événements du monde arabe bénéficient d'un traitement en profondeur, la chaîne mobilisant alors sa rédaction et son réseau de correspondants. Abu Dhabi TV a ainsi consacré une grande partie de son temps d'antenne à l'information durant la guerre en Irak de 2003, envoyant une quarantaine de journalistes et de techniciens sur le terrain, dont une femme reporter, la libanaise Iman Ghanem. La chaîne, qui a recruté des journalistes dans plusieurs pays orientaux et européens (Égypte, Liban, pays du Maghreb) produit environ 60 % des émissions diffusées sur son antenne. Elle est diffusée aux Émirats arabes unis sur le réseau hertzien et par câble, mais aussi par satellite et ADSL au Moyen-Orient, en Europe, en Amérique et en Australie. Rebaptisée Abu Dhabi Al Oula (La première) en 2008, elle bénéficie depuis lors d'une nouvelle identité (nouveau logo, nouvelle présentation des programmes). Elle compte quatre « petites sœurs » : Abu Dhabi Al Oula + 1 (chaîne reprenant les programmes d'Abu Dhabi Al Oula avec une heure de décalage), Abu Dhabi Al Emarat (chaîne généraliste), Abu Dhabi Al Riyadiya (chaîne sportive) et Abu Dhabi Drama (séries).
