- The 9th World Scout Jamboree, also known as the Jubilee Jamboree, was held at Sutton Park, Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, England, for twelve days during August, 1957. The Jamboree marked dual milestones as it was both the 50th anniversary of the Scouting movement since its inception at Brownsea Island and the 100th anniversary of the birth of Scouting's founder Robert Baden-Powell. Held concurrently with the World Jamboree was the 2nd World Scout Indaba and the 6th World Rover Moot, as well as the third Girl Guide World Camp. (en)
- Le jamboree mondial de 1957 est le neuvième jamboree scout. Exceptionnellement il n'a lieu que deux ans après le précédent : c'est le Jamboree du Jubilé célébrant le 50e anniversaire du scoutisme et le 100e anniversaire de la naissance de Baden Powell. Il se tient à en Angleterre et rassemble un peu plus de 30 000 scouts venus de 80 pays. (fr)
- Il 9º Jamboree mondiale dello scautismo si tenne a Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield nel Regno Unito dal 1 al 12 agosto 1957. Fu il Jamboree del 50º anniversario dello scautismo. Per commemorare l'evento fu innalzato un obelisco a Sutton Park. Dal campo operò una radio amatoriale e fu pubblicato il giornale "Jubilee Journal". Durante questo campo fu ideato il Jamboree On The Air (JOTA). Pare che a questo evento fece il suo debutto come cantante Paul McCartney, assieme a suo fratello Michael. (it)

O Jamboree marcou dois marcos, pois foi o 50.º aniversário do movimento Escotismo desde seu início na Ilha de Brownsea e o 100.º aniversário do nascimento do fundador do Escotismo, Robert Baden-Powell . Paralelamente ao Jamboree Mundial, aconteceu o 2.º World Scout Indaba e o 6.º World Rover Moot, bem como o terceiro Girl Guide World Camp . (pt)

För att fira den femtionde årsdagen av det första Scoutlägret på Brownsea Island och Robert Baden-Powells hundraårsdag kombinerade man jamboreen med och World Scout Moot. Deltagarantalet var 33 000 scouter, vilka kom från 90 länder och de stannade i tolv dagar. (sv)
