- The 2019 Rally Catalunya (also known as RallyRACC Catalunya - Costa Daurada 2019) was a motor racing event for rally cars which was held over four days between 24 and 27 October 2019. It marks the fifty-fifth running of Rally Catalunya and is the thirteenth round of the 2019 World Rally Championship, the newly-created WRC-2 Pro class, World Rally Championship-2, the Spanish national Rally Championship and Peugeot Rally Cup Ibérica championship. The 2019 event is based in Salou in Tarragona, and is contested over seventeen special stages with a total a competitive distance of 325.56 km (202.29 mi). Nine-time world champions Sébastien Loeb and Daniel Elena were the defending rally winners. Citroën Total WRT, the team they drove for in 2018, were the defending manufacturers' winners. The Finnish crew of Kalle Rovanperä and Jonne Halttunen were the defending rally winners in the World Rally Championship-2 category, but they did not defend their titles as they were promoted to the newly-created WRC-2 Pro class. Thierry Neuville and Nicolas Gilsoul won the rally for the first time in their career. Their team, Hyundai Shell Mobis WRT, were the manufacturers' winners. The Citroën Total crew of Mads Østberg and Torstein Eriksen won the WRC-2 Pro category, finishing first in the combined WRC-2 category, while the French crew of Eric Camilli and Benjamin Veillas won the wider WRC-2 class. Ott Tänak and Martin Järveoja finished second overall as well as taking the power stage victory, which is enough for them to seal their maiden World Rally Championship titles. This makes Tänak the first non-French driver to be World Rally Champion since Petter Solberg won the 2003 World Rally Championship title, ending a run of 5,831 days in which a Sébastien was the current champion. With a 2-3 finish in the Pro category, Škoda Motorsport took the first World Rally Championship-2 Pro manufacturers’ title. (en)

Se celebró del 24 al 27 de octubre y contó con un itinerario de diecisiete tramos sobre tierra y asfalto que sumaban un total de 325,56 km cronometrados. Fue también la decimotercera ronda de los campeonatos WRC 2 y WRC 2 Pro. Un total de sesenta y un pilotos se inscribieron en la prueba destacando los pilotos oficiales de Citroën (Sébastien Ogier, Esapekka Lappi), Ford (Teemu Suninen, Elfyn Evans), Hyundai (Thierry Neuville, Dani Sordo y Sébastien Loeb) y Toyota (Ott Tänak, Jari-Matti Latvala y Kris Meeke). En la categoría WRC 2 Pro se encontraban Gus Greensmith (Ford), Mads Østberg (Citroën), Jan Kopecký y Kalle Rovanperä (Škoda) mientras que en WRC 2 participaron diecisiete pilotos. También tomaron parte quince pilotos en la Peugeot Rally Cup Ibérica y seis en la Beca Júnior R2 RFEdA aunque estas dos copas solo tomarían parte en la primera jornada del rally, del primer al sexto tramo. - Il Rally di Catalogna 2019, ufficialmente denominato 55º Rally RACC Catalunya - Rally de España, è stata la tredicesima prova del campionato del mondo rally 2019 nonché la cinquantacinquesima edizione del Rally di Catalogna e la ventisettesima con valenza mondiale. La manifestazione si è svolta dal 25 al 27 ottobre sulle strade che attraversano le colline della Costa Daurada in Catalogna, provincia situata nel nord-est della Spagna, con sede a Salou ed è stato l'unico rally della stagione a corrersi su un fondo misto asfalto/terra; la prima frazione si svolse infatti prevalentemente su terra mentre le successive due interamente su asfalto. La gara è stata vinta dal belga Thierry Neuville, navigato dal connazionale Nicolas Gilsoul, al volante di una Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC della scuderia Hyundai Shell Mobis WRT, davanti alla coppia estone formata da Ott Tänak e Martin Järveoja, su Toyota Yaris WRC della scuderia Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT, e a quella spagnola composta da Dani Sordo e Carlos del Barrio, compagni di squadra dei vincitori. Ott Tänak e Martin Järveoja, laureatisi matematicamente campioni del mondo grazie al secondo posto ottenuto in Catalogna Con questo piazzamento Tänak e Järveoja si sono laureati campioni del mondo piloti e copiloti 2019 con una gara di anticipo, iscrivendo per la prima volta nell'albo d'oro dei campioni un equipaggio estone e riportando la propria nazione sul podio finale di stagione a distanza di 15 anni, quando fu Markko Märtin nel 2004 a chiudere l'annata iridata al terzo posto. Il titolo costruttori 2019 si sarebbe dovuto giocare nell'ultima gara, il Rally d'Australia, ma l'appuntamento venne annullato pochi giorni prima del suo inizio per via dell'emergenza incendi che ha funestato i territori settentrionali del Nuovo Galles del Sud, dove si sarebbe dovuto svolgere il rally, pertanto esso è stato conquistato dalla scuderia sudcoreana Hyundai Motorsport, in testa dopo il termine della gara catalana, la quale iscrisse quindi per la prima volta il suo nome nell'albo d'oro costruttori del mondiale rally. Jan Kopecký con la Škoda Fabia R5 del team Škoda Motorsport, aggiudicatasi il titolo costruttori nel campionato WRC-2 Pro con una gara di anticipo I norvegesi Mads Østberg e , su Citroën C3 R5 della squadra Citroën Total WRT, hanno invece conquistato la vittoria nella categoria WRC-2 Pro, mentre il primo titolo mondiale costruttori di categoria è stato conquistato dalla scuderia Škoda Motorsport con ancora una gara da disputare. Gli allori di classe piloti e copiloti erano invece già stati vinti da Kalle Rovanperä e Jonne Halttunen nell'appuntamento precedente in Galles. La classe WRC-2 è invece stata vinta dai francesi Eric Camilli e , anch'essi alla guida di una Citroën C3 R5.. Anche i titoli mondiali piloti e copiloti WRC-2 si sarebbero dovuti decidere in Australia ma stante l'annullamento della gara, essi andarono ai francesi Pierre-Louis Loubet e su Škoda Fabia R5, in testa alla classifica dopo l'appuntamento spagnolo. - Rajd Hiszpanii 2019 (55. RallyRACC Catalunya - Costa Daurada) – Rajd Hiszpanii rozgrywany w Hiszpanii od 24 do 27 października 2019 roku. Był trzynastą rundą Rajdowych Mistrzostw Świata w roku 2019. Rajd był rozgrywany na nawierzchni asfaltowej i szutrowej. Jego bazą było miasto Salou. Rajd wygrał Belg Thierry Neuville dla którego była to dwunasta wygrana w WRC i czterdzieste podium, kierował on samochodem Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC, reprezentując zespół Hyundai Shell Mobis WRT. Dla zespołu był to czternasty triumf w mistrzostwach świata. Drugie miejsce zajął Estończyk Ott Tänak, który tym samym na jedną rundę przed końcem cyklu, zapewnił sobie mistrzostwo świta na sezon 2019, Estończyk został dwudziestym mistrzem świata. Dla zespołu Toyoty, który Ott reprezentował było to sto siedemdziesiąte piąte podium w historii startów w WRC. Na trzecim miejscu do mety dojechał Hiszpan Dani Sordo, po raz czterdziesty szósty na podium w historii swoich startów. Jedyny polski zespół startujący w tej imprezie Kajetan Kajetanowicz i Maciej Szczepaniak, zajęli trzecie miejsce w klasyfikacji aut WRC 2 (czternaste miejsce w klasyfikacji generalnej). Polacy jechali samochodem Volkswagen Polo GTI R5. Dobry występ pozwoli przesunąć się polskiej załodze na drugie miejsce w klasyfikacji sezonu WRC 2. (pl)
