- Βουλευτικές εκλογές διεξήχθησαν στη Ρουμανία , στις 9 Δεκεμβρίου 2012. Η Σοσιαλιστική Φιλελεύθερη Ένωση του Πρωθυπουργού Βίκτορ Πόντα κέρδισε την απόλυτη πλειοψηφία τόσο στη Βουλή των Αντιπροσώπων και τη Γερουσία. Παρά τις αντίξοες καιρικές συνθήκες σε πολλές περιοχές της χώρας, η προσέλευση ήταν 41,7%, υψηλότερη από τις τελευταίες βουλευτικές εκλογές που διεξήχθησαν το 2008 , στις οποίες η συμμετοχή διαμορφώθηκε στο 39,20%. Η Σοσιαλιστική Φιλελεύθερη Ένωση απέκτησαν τεράστια πλειοψηφία τόσο στη Βουλή των Αντιπροσώπων όσο και στη Γερουσία, με 60,07% και 58,61% των ψήφων, αντίστοιχα, και τον αριθμό ρεκόρ των 395 εδρών. Πολύ πίσω,η Συμμαχία Δικαίωμα της Ρουμανίας ήρθε στη δεύτερη θέση με μόνο 16,72% και 16,52% των ψήφων και 80 έδρες, χάνοντας περίπου τις μισές από εκείνες που είχε κερδίσει το 2008. Η συμμαχία Δικαίωμα της Ρουμανίας διαλύθηκε επίσημα μετά τις εκλογές. Το Λαϊκό Κόμμα - Νταν Ντιακονέσκου και η Ουγγρική Δημοκρατική Ένωση της Ρουμανίας ήταν οι μοναδικές άλλες πολιτικές ομάδες που κέρδισαν έδρες στη Γερουσία. - Legislative elections were held in Romania on 9 December 2012. The Social Liberal Union (USL) of Prime Minister Victor Ponta won an absolute majority in both the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate. Despite the severe weather in parts of the country, the turnout was at 42%, slightly higher than the last legislative elections held in 2008 which saw a turnout of 39%. The Social Liberal Union (USL) obtained a huge majority in both the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, with 60% and 59% respectively of the votes and in MP mandates, a record number of 395 seats. Far behind, the Right Romania Alliance (ARD) came in second place with only 17% of the vote and 80 seats, losing about half of what they won in 2008. The ARD was officially dissolved after the elections. People's Party – Dan Diaconescu (PP–DD) and the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania (UDMR/RMDSZ) were the only other political groups that won seats in the Senate. Several parties for ethnic minorities also received individual seats in the Chamber of Deputies. (en)

- Las elecciones legislativas se celebraron en Rumanía el 9 de diciembre de 2012. La Unión Social Liberal del Primer ministro Victor Ponta ganó una mayoría absoluta en la Cámara de Diputados y en el Senado. A pesar del tiempo severo que afectaba a varias partes del país, la participación fue de 41.7%, la más alta desde las elecciones de 2004. La Unión Social Liberal obtuvo una mayoría enorme en ambas Cámaras, con más de un 58% de los votos y en escaños, un número récord de 395 asientos. En un muy lejano segundo lugar quedó, la Alianza de Rumanía Correcta con 16.72% y 16.52% de los votos y 80 asientos, perdiendo sobre medios de qué ganaron en 2008. La alianza de Rumanía Correcta oficialmente disuelta después de la elección. El partido de las personas @– Dan Diaconescu y la unión Democrática húngara de Rumanía era el solo otros grupos políticos que ganó asientos en el Senado. - Wybory parlamentarne w Rumunii w 2012 roku odbyły się 9 grudnia 2012. W ich wyniku zostało wybranych 412 posłów do Izby Deputowanych oraz 176 członków Senatu. Frekwencja wyniosła 47,1%. Wybory zakończyły się zdecydowanym zwycięstwem centrolewicowej koalicji pod nazwą Unia Socjalno-Liberalna, która skupiła siły skonfliktowane z prezydentem Traianem Băsescu i wspierające powołany wcześniej w tym samym roku gabinet Victora Ponty.
