- The 2002 Liga Indonesia Premier Division (also known as the Liga Bank Mandiri for sponsorship reasons) was the eighth season of the Liga Indonesia Premier Division, the top Indonesian professional league for association football clubs, since its formation in 1994. It began on 13 January and ended on 7 July. Petrokimia Putra won the title after beating Persita 3–2 in the final. (en)
- La saison 2002 du Championnat d'Indonésie de football est la huitième édition du championnat de première division en Indonésie. La Premier Division regroupe vingt-quatre équipes et se déroule en plusieurs phases :
* les clubs sont répartis en deux poules géographiques et s'affrontent deux fois, à domicile et à l'extérieur. Les quatre premiers de chaque groupe se qualifient pour le deuxième tour, les trois derniers sont relégués en deuxième division.
* les huit qualifiés sont répartis en deux groupes de quatre et s'affrontent une seule fois. Les deux premiers obtiennent leur billet pour la phase finale.
* la phase finale est jouée sous forme de matchs à élimination directe (demi-finales et finale). C'est le club de Petrokimia Putra qui remporte le championnat cette saison après avoir battu en finale Persita Tangerang. C'est le tout premier titre de champion d'Indonésie de l'histoire du club. Il se qualifie, en compagnie du finaliste pour la toute nouvelle Ligue des champions de l'AFC. (fr)
- Divisi Utama Liga Indonesia 2002 adalah musim kedelapan Liga Indonesia. Terdapat 24 tim yang ikut berlaga dengan 2 pembagian wilayah. Pada musim 2002 Petrokimia Putra berhasil merengkuh gelar juara setelah di pertandingan final mengalahkan Persita Tangerang 2-1 yang berlangsung hingga babak perpanjangan waktu. Liga ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 13 Januari hingga 7 Juli 2002. Kompetisi musim ini disponsori oleh Bank Mandiri dan ditayangkan di ANteve dan TVRI. Musim ini adalah kali terakhir Liga Indonesia menggunakan sistem pembagian wilayah barat dan wilayah timur serta sistem knockout stage (perempat final, semifinal, dan final). Pada musim selanjutnya (2003-saat ini), sistem tersebut diganti dengan: tim yang terus memuncaki klasemen sampai akhir musim berhak menjadi juara. (in)
