- Il Rally di Finlandia 2001, ufficialmente denominato 51th Neste Rally Finland, è stata la nona prova del campionato del mondo rally 2001 nonché la cinquantunesima edizione del Rally di Finlandia e la ventottesima con valenza mondiale. La manifestazione si è svolta dal 24 al 26 agosto sugli ondulati sterrati che attraversano le foreste della Finlandia Centrale, nel territorio attorno alla città di Jyväskylä, dove ebbe sede anche il parco assistenza per i concorrenti per la prima giornata, mentre per le restanti due venne allestito nell'aeroporto Halli, nel comune di Jämsä Marcus Grönholm al parco assistenza L'evento è stato vinto dal finlandese Marcus Grönholm, navigato dal connazionale Timo Rautiainen, al volante di una Peugeot 206 WRC (2001) della squadra Peugeot Total, davanti alla coppie britanniche formate da Richard Burns e Robert Reid, su Subaru Impreza WRC2001 della scuderia Subaru World Rally Team, e da Colin McRae e Nicky Grist, alla guida di una Ford Focus RS WRC 01 del team Ford Martini. Gli argentini e , su Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI, hanno invece conquistato la vittoria nella categoria PWRC, mentre l'equipaggio formato dal francese Sébastien Loeb e dal monegasco Daniel Elena si sono aggiudicati la terza tappa della Coppa FIA piloti Super 1600, alla guida di una . L'omanita e il neozelandese hanno infine vinto la classifica della , alla guida di una Subaru Impreza WRC2000 della scuderia Oman Arab World Rally Team. (it)

Była to dziewiąta runda czempionatu w tamtym roku i piąta szutrowa, a także dziewiąta w i trzecia w Junior World Rally Championship. Bazą rajdu było miasto Jyväskylä. Zwycięzcami rajdu została fińska załoga Marcus Grönholm i Timo Rautiainen w Peugeocie 206 WRC. Wyprzedzili oni dwie brytyjskie załogi Richarda Burnsa i w Subaru Imprezie WRC oraz Colina McRae i Nicky’ego Grista w Fordzie Focusie WRC. Z kolei w Production WRC zwyciężyli Argentyńczycy Marcos Ligato i Rubén García, jadący Mitsubishi Lancerem Evo VI, a w Junior WRC francusko-monakijska załoga Sébastien Loeb – Daniel Elena w Citroënie Saxo VTS S1600. Rajdu nie ukończyło pięciu kierowców fabrycznych. Kierowca Peugeota 206 WRC Francuz Didier Auriol, wycofał się z rajdu na 13. odcinku specjalnym na skutek awarii zawieszenia. Fin Tommi Mäkinen w Mitsubishi Lancerze Evo VI odpadł na 1. odcinku specjalnym z powodu uszkodzenia zawieszenia. Francuz François Delecour w Fordzie Focusie WRC, zrezygnował z jazdy po awarii układu mechanicznego na 19. odcinku specjalnym. Rajdu nie ukończył też Fin Toni Gardemeister w Mitsubishi Carismie GT, który miał wypadek na 21. oesie. Z kolei kierowca Hyundaia Accenta WRC, Fin Juha Kankkunen, zrezygnował z jazdy na 16. oesie z powodu awarii. (pl)
