- The 1991–92 2. Bundesliga season was the eighteenth season of the 2. Bundesliga, the second tier of the German football league system. It was the first season in which the league contained clubs from former East Germany. Bayer 05 Uerdingen and 1. FC Saarbrücken were promoted to the Bundesliga while Blau-Weiß 90 Berlin, BSV Stahl Brandenburg, TSV 1860 Munich, Hallescher FC and FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt were relegated to the Oberliga. (en)

Fußball-Bundesliga 1991-1992 è stata la diciottesima edizione della seconda serie del campionato tedesco di calcio dalla sua istituzione nel 1974 Questa è la prima stagione nella quale vengono ammesse le squadre dell'ex Germania Est, in base alla classifica dell'ultima stagione. Il campionato è articolato in due fasi: nella prima i ventiquattro club vengono divisi secondo criteri geografici in due gironi all'italiana. Vengono disputati incontri di andata e ritorno, e alla fine vengono creati per ciascun girone due ulteriori raggruppamenti di sei squadre in base alla classifica della prima fase: quelle meglio piazzate lottano per l'unico posto in Bundesliga, le altre per mantenere la categoria. Il campionato termina con la promozione del Bayer Uerdingen dal girone Nord, e del Saarbrücken dal girone Süd. Capocannonieri del torneo sono stati invece Radek Drulák dell'Oldenburg con 21 gol nel girone Nord, e Michael Preetz del Saarbrücken con 17 gol per il girone Süd. (it)
- De 2. Bundesliga 1991/92 was het achttiende seizoen van het tweede niveau in het Duits voetbal. Door de instroom van zes Oost-Duitse clubs in de West-Duitse competitie werd de competitie in twee groepen van twaalf clubs verdeeld. Er kwam een reguliere competitie van 22 wedstrijden, hierna werden de clubs verdeeld in een kampioenen- en degradatiegroep. De punten uit de eerste ronde bleven behouden. Beide kampioenen promoveerden. De twee laatsten in elke groep degradeerden terwijl de derde laatste in een eindronde speelde met de vicekampioenen van de Oberliga's. (nl)
- Sezon 1991/92 2. Fußball-Bundesligi – 18. edycja rozgrywek niemieckiej 2. Fußball-Bundesligi w piłce nożnej. W sezonie 1991/92 do rozgrywek ligowych RFN przyłączono drużyny z byłej NRD (do 2. Fußball-Bundesligi przyjęto 6 drużyn), w związku z czym liczba drużyn powiększyła się do 24 i spowodowało to, że rozgrywki toczyły się w dwóch grupach: Nord (Północ) oraz Süd (Południe) i występowało w nich po 12 drużyn. Po zakończeniu sezonu mistrzowie grup awansowali bezpośrednio do Bundesligi, a po dwie ostatnie drużyny z każdej grupy spadały do Amateur-Oberligi. Po zakończeniu sezonu na prośbę klubów połączono obie grupy. (pl)
