40.0 The song “Warm Leatherette” stands at the beginning of an important development, the electrified version of Punk that had been picked up and transformed in Düsseldorf by bands like Die Krupps, DAF and Liaisons Dangereuses, music that might be called proto-EBM at least. L'electronic body music (EBM) est un genre musical mêlant les éléments sonores de la musique post-industrielle et du synthpunk. Le genre émerge initialement en Belgique, et fait partie intégrante du mouvement new wave. L'electronic body music originale est souvent appelée old-school EBM, et ne doit pas être confondue avec l'aggrotech, le dark electro ou la musique industrielle. Electronic body music (zkráceně EBM) je hudební žánr, který absorboval do sebe elementy industrialu a elektropunku a elektronické taneční hudby. Poprvé se styl ukázal v Belgii. Jeho vývoj probíhal v osmdesátých letech 20. století. Mezi inovátory tohoto žánru patří hudebníci industrialu (Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire), evropského synthpunku (DAF, , ) a popově-orientované elektronické hudby (Kraftwerk). V Česku byla pionýrem tohoto stylu neslavně proslulá formace Vanessa vedená excentrickým Samirem Hauserem. 일렉트로닉 보디 뮤직(Electronic body music, EBM)은 1980년대 후반부터 1990년대 전반에 걸쳐 번성한 음악 장르이다. Electronic body music (с англ. — «музыка с электронной основой», «электронная музыка для тела») или сокращённо EBM — жанр электронной танцевальной музыки, ответвление постиндастриала.
