- Lluís del Brasil (Petrópolis, 26 de gener de 1878 - Canes, 26 de març de 1920), anomenat «Príncep Perfecte», va ser el príncep imperial del Brasil (hereu de l'Imperi del Brasil) des de 1908. Va ser el segon fill de la princesa imperial Isabel de Bragança i el comte de Eu, Gastón d'Orleans, hereu al tron després de la renúncia del seu germà major, Pere d'Alcántara d'Orleans-Bragança el 30 d'octubre de 1908. Patriarca des de llavors de la branca de la família imperial anomenada Vassouras. (ca)

Od roku 1908 až do své smrti v roce 1920 byl navíc po své matce následníkem na zrušený trůn brazilského císařství v důsledku rozhodnutí staršího bratra Pedra oženit se proti vůli matky, která jako hlava císařské rodiny se sňatkem nesouhlasila a musel se tak nároku na trůn vzdát ve prospěch mladšího bratra Ludvíka. Během první světové války sloužil v řadách britské armády ve Flandrech, kde se nakazil zhoubnou formou revmatické nemoci, která podlomila jeho zdraví a v 42 letech zemřel. Před svou smrtí byl za válečné zásluhy vyznamenán ve Francii, Belgii a Spojeném království. (cs)

- Prince Luís of Orléans-Braganza (26 January 1878 – 26 March 1920), was a claimant to the former throne of the Empire of Brazil. He was born in Brazil, the second son of Prince Gaston, Count of Eu, and Isabel, Princess Imperial of Brazil. He was exiled along with his family as the result of the 1889 coup d'état that resulted in the formation of the republic. In 1908, the year he married, his older brother Pedro renounced his claim to succeed his mother in her claim to the imperial throne, leaving Dom Luís as her heir. In this role he worked with monarchists in Brazil in several attempts to restore the monarchy. At the outbreak of World War I he enlisted as an officer with the British Armed Forces and saw action in Flanders where he contracted a virulent form of rheumatism that caused his death at the age of 42. His efforts on behalf of the Allies of World War I saw him decorated by Belgium, France and Great Britain. (en)
