- Le ghetto de Łomża était un ghetto pour les Juifs polonais créé le 12 août 1941 par les autorités allemandes nazies à Łomża en Pologne occupée, dans le district de Bialystok. Deux mois après l'opération Barbarossa, l'invasion de l'Union soviétique, les Juifs reçoivent l'ordre de s'y regrouper en une seule journée, provoquant la panique à l'entrée principale de la rue Senatorska adjacente au vieux marché (Stary Rynek). The survivors of anti-Jewish pogroms, murders, and expulsions in Jedwabne, Stawiski, Wizna, and Rutki-Kossaki, as well as refugees from other locales, were interned in the ghetto. Com o início da ofensiva alemã contra a União Soviética, os judeus locais foram forçados a mudarem-se em um único dia, o que resultou em tumulto e pânico nas ruas da cidade. O número de pessoas comprimidas no gueto estava em torno de 10,000 a 18,000, a maioria advinda das vilas de Jedwabne, Stawiski, Piątnica, Łomża, Wizna e Rotki, entre outras.
