- Taman Warisan Nasional Ópusztaszer adalah sebuah mengenai sejarah Hongaria yang terletak di , Hongaria. Museum ini didirikan pada tahun 1982 dan dikenal sebagai tempat ditampilkannya Panorama Feszty, yaitu sebuah cyclorama karya dan asisten-asistennya yang menggambarkan permulaan penaklukan Cekungan Carpathia orang Hongaria pada tahun 895. Lukisan ini diselesaikan pada tahun 1894 untuk perayaan 1000 tahun peristiwa tersebut. Pada tahun 1970-an, pemerintah memutuskan untuk mendirikan sebuah taman warisan budaya di Kabupaten Csongrád. Restorasi lukisan Kedatangan Orang-Orang Hongaria dan pembangunan baru untuk menyimpan cyclorama tersebut pun dimulai. Pembangunan dihentikan pada tahun 1979 dan cyclorama ini kembali disimpan, tetapi pada tahun 1991 sekelompok ahli restorasi Polandia memenangkan kontrak restorasi yang baru. - The Ópusztaszer National Heritage Park is an open-air museum of Hungarian history in Ópusztaszer, Hungary. It was established in 1982 and is most famous for being the location of the Feszty Panorama, a cyclorama by Árpád Feszty and his assistants, depicting the beginning of the Hungarian conquest of the Carpathian Basin in 895. The painting was completed in 1894 for the 1000th anniversary of the event. The park is also home to various indoor and outdoor exhibits, focusing on the archaeological and ethnographic history of ancient and early-modern Hungary in an immersive and engaging manner. In the 1970s, a decision was made to build a heritage park in Csongrád County. Restoration of the Arrival of the Hungarians painting and the construction of a new rotunda for the famous cyclorama began. Construction stopped in 1979 and parts of the canvas were again rolled up, and stored away. In 1991, a group of Polish art conservationists won the contract for a new restoration. Since 1995 the cyclorama has been on permanent display, together with artificial terrain and hidden speakers playing sound effects. It is the main attraction of the Ópusztaszer national heritage park. (en)
- Het Nationaal Geschiedkundig Herdenkingspark (Nemzeti Történeti Emlékpark) is een recreatiepark in de plaats Ópusztaszer in het Zuid-Hongaarse comitaat Csongrád. Het is een museum en herdenkingspark voor de Hongaarse geschiedenis. Verder is er een openluchtmuseum met woningen, scholen en kerken uit heel Hongarije. Het park werd in 1982 opgericht en herinnert aan de zogenaamde Landname in het jaar 896 door Hongaarse stammen onder Árpád. Midden in het 40 ha grote park is het Árpád-monument van aan deze gebeurtenis gewijd. Evenals het monument op het Heldenplein in Boedapest kwam het tot stand ter gelegenheid van de vieringen van het duizendjarig bestaan van Hongarije in 1896. De voornaamste attractie van het park is evenwel het cyclorama "Aankomst van de Hongaren" van Árpád Feszty uit 1894, dat over dezelfde gebeurtenis gaat en dat hier sinds de restauratie in 1995 wordt tentoongesteld. Het panorama is 120 meter lang, 15 meter hoog en de doorsnede is 38 meter. Het panorama was in de Tweede Wereldoorlog beschadigd maar hangt sinds 1982 weer in volle glorie in het park. Veel Hongaren bezoeken op 20 augustus, de feestdag van de heilige koning Stefanus, deze plek. Het park ligt halverwege Kecskemét en Szeged en iets ten oosten van de E 5 bij Kistelek, dat 29 km ten noorden van Szeged ligt. (nl)
