- Třída Weapon byla třída torpédoborců britského královského námořnictva. Celkem byly postaveny a spuštěny na vodu v letech 1945–1946 čtyři jednotky této třídy. Stavba dalších 16 byla zrušena po skončení druhé světové války. Ve druhé polovině 50. let byly všechny čtyři jednotky upraveny na radarové torpédoborce, ze služby byly vyřazeny v roce 1966. (cs)

Queste unità entrarono in servizio nel 1947, rimanendovi fino alla fine degli anni sessanta. Più piccole della successiva classe Battle, furono i primi cacciatorpediniere britannici ad essere costruiti in base ad un progetto completamente differente da quello delle varie "Flottiglie d'emergenza" costruite a partire dallo scoppio della seconda guerra mondiale. Inizialmente venne prevista la costruzione di venti unità, delle quali solo tredici vennero impostate e solamente sette varate. La cessazione delle ostilità nel 1945 spinse ad un'ulteriore riduzione numerica, con il risultato che solamente quattro navi vennero completate. Due unità, ordinate con i nomi di Celt e Centaur come parte della precedente classe C, nota anche come "Quindicesima Flottiglia d'Emergenza" vennero rinconvertite al nuovo progetto. (it)

They were the smaller counterpart to the Battle class (which followed them) and were the first new destroyer designs for the Royal Navy since the Second World War Emergency Programme. 20 ships were planned, of which only 13 were laid down and 7 were launched, but the cessation of hostilities resulted in only 4 being completed for service. Two of the ships had been previously ordered (as Celt and Centaur) as part of the planned C class, or 15th Emergency flotilla, of 1944, but the orders were changed to the new design. (en)

Weapon-class destroyer) — клас військових кораблів з 20 ескадрених міноносців, що розроблялися та випускалися британськими суднобудівельними компаніями на завершальному етапі Другої світової війни. Ескадрені міноносці цього типу, що перебували у складі Королівського військово-морського флоту Великої Британії, розроблялися на основі одного проєкту з есмінцями типу «Бетл», які водночас перевершували їх за розміром. Есмінці типу «Вепон» стали першими у своєму класі, що розроблялися за новим концептуальним проєктом, який прийшов на заміну старим розробкам будівництва есмінців за Надзвичайною програмою будівництва кораблів Британії за часів світової війни. Основним призначенням есмінців цього типу було забезпечення протиповітряної оборони кораблів під час конвоювання транспортних суден. До проєкту увійшло 20 кораблів, з яких тільки 13 було закладено, 7 спущено на воду, проте через завершення війни, лише 4 введено до складу Королівських ВМС. (uk)
