- El Servicio de Interpretación de las Naciones Unidas es parte de la División de Reuniones y Publicaciones ([1]) del Departamento de la Asamblea General y de Gestión de Conferencias (DGACM) de la ONU.Su función principal es proporcionar interpretación desde y hacia árabe, chino, inglés, francés, ruso y español para reuniones que tienen lugar en la Sede de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas, y otros departamentos que estén obligados a ofrecer este servicio. Its core function is to provide interpretation from and into Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish for meetings held at United Nations Headquarters, and those at other locations which the department is responsible for servicing. Interpretation is essential to the inter-governmental bodies for the proper conduct and smooth functioning of their deliberations. (en)
