- Το Μυστήριο του Χρυσού Πιθήκου (αγγλικά Tales of the Gold Monkey) είναι ο ελληνικός τίτλος μιας αμερικανικής τηλεοπτικής σειράς του 1982. Η σειρά πρωτοπροβλήθηκε από το τηλεοπτικό δίκτυο ABC ενώ στην Ελλάδα προβλήθηκε τη σεζόν 1983-1984, μεταγλωττισμένη, από την ΕΡΤ1. Οι περισσότεροι τηλεκριτικοί εξέλαβαν την σειρά σαν μια προσπάθεια εκμετάλλευσης της επιτυχίας της πρώτης κινηματογραφικής περιπέτειας του Ιντιάνα Τζόουνς που είχε σαρώσει τα ταμεία έναν χρόνο πριν. Η αλήθεια εντούτοις είναι ότι αφ' ενός ο παραγωγός είχε προτείνει τη σειρά στο δίκτυο αρκετά χρόνια πριν την ταινία και αφ' ετέρου η σειρά έχει περισσότερες ομοιότητες με μια παλιότερη ταινία του Χόλυγουντ παρά με τον Ιντιάνα Τζόουνς. Tales of the Gold Monkey presentaba algunos elementos característicos de la película Raiders of the Lost Ark, estrenada un año antes, en 1981, y cuyo éxito propició el rodaje de esta serie. Aunque en general la serie fue bien recibida tanto en Norteamérica como en el resto del mundo, no fue renovada porque se estimó que la audiencia obtenida no justificaba los altos costos de producción. En 2012, Adam Reed basó en Tales of the Gold Monkey algunos argumentos de la tercera temporada de su serie de animación Archer.
