- The siege of San Andreas also known as the siege of Sint-Andries was a military event that took place during the Eighty Years' War and the Anglo–Spanish War from 28 January to 6 March 1600. The Spanish garrison of San Andreas was besieged by an Anglo-Dutch force led by Maurice of Nassau. A Spanish relief force under the command of Luis de Velasco failed to relieve the fort after having been turned back by the besiegers. The fort surrendered after the garrison mutinied and accepted payment from Maurice. (en)
- L’assedio di San Andreas, noto anche col nome di assedio di Sint-Andries, fu un assedio combattuto presso il forte di San Andreas, non distante dalla città di Heerewaarden (attuali Paesi Bassi) dal 28 gennaio al 6 marzo 1600, nell'ambito della guerra degli ottant'anni. La guarnigione spagnola del forte di San Andreas venne assediata da una forza anglo-olandese guidata da Maurizio d'Orange. I rinforzi spagnoli guidati da Luis de Velasco non riuscirono a salvare il forte dall'assedio e questo si arrese alle forze olandesi anche a causa degli ammutinamenti scoppiati per i mancati pagamenti dei soldati da parte dell'esercito spagnolo.
