- Seyed Khorasani (Arabic: سيد خراسانی), is an Islamic leader whose rising is an essential part of Islamic eschatology. According to the narration narrated by Fadl Ibn Shazan of Neyshabur, in an authentic document from Imam Sadegh, Khorasani is one of the townspeople of Samarkand. Rising of Khorasani with the Islamic Black Standard flags is one of the signs of Mahdi's appearance. He is considered amongst the assistants of Mahdi. According to Hadith(s), Seyed Khorasani has a spot on his right hand; and will move to Kufa with Sufyani at one common day. Finally, Khorasani with his army will defeat the army of Sufyani. (en)
