- السَّامِري شخصية يهودية. وهو الذي ذكر في القرآن الكريم في سورة طه، وهو الذي أغوى بني إسرائيل بعد أن ذهب موسى لميقات ربه فأخرج السامري عجلا جسدا له خوار، فأضل كثيرا من بني إسرائيل، ودعا عليه موسى قَالَ فَاذْهَبْ فَإِنَّ لَكَ فِي الْحَيَاةِ أَنْ تَقُولَ لَا مِسَاسَ وَإِنَّ لَكَ مَوْعِدًا لَنْ تُخْلَفَهُ وَانْظُرْ إِلَى إِلَهِكَ الَّذِي ظَلْتَ عَلَيْهِ عَاكِفًا لَنُحَرِّقَنَّهُ ثُمَّ لَنَنْسِفَنَّهُ فِي الْيَمِّ نَسْفًا (سورة طه، الآية 97). - Musa bin Zafar (Arab: موسى بن ظفر السامري Musa bin Zafar Samaria; السامري as-Sāmirī) adalah seseorang dari bani Israel yang membuat berhala sapi emas, karena bani Israel selalu meminta alat peraga untuk menyembah Allah. Ia dikisahkan menjadi pengikut Nabi Musa yang kemudian menjadi sesat, dan ia merupakan salah satu tokoh kafir yang disebut dalam Al-Qur'an. (in)
- Al-Samari (en arabe : السامري, al-Sāmirī), appelé traditionnellement Moussa ibn Zafar ou le Samaritain, désigne un disciple rebelle du Moussa coranique. Selon le récit musulman, le Samaritain aurait incité à créer le veau d'or, et aurait tenté de conduire les Hébreux à l'idolâtrie, alors que Moïse était absent pendant quarante jours sur le mont Sinaï, recevant le Décalogue. L'invention de ce personnage permet de dédouaner les Juifs, que Mahomet ne connaît pas avant son installation à Médine, de la responsabilité de la création du veau d'or, ainsi que d'expliquer pourquoi les Samaritains sont séparés des Hébreux. According to the twentieth chapter of the Quran, Samiri created the calf while Moses was away for 40 days on Mount Sinai, receiving the Ten Commandments. In contrast to the account given in the Hebrew Bible, the Quran does not blame Aaron for the calf’s creation. (en)
