- Radio Nacional (anomenada Radio 1 fins al 2008) és una cadena generalista de Radio Nacional de España d'àmbit estatal que es pot escoltar en tot el territori de l'Estat espanyol i a Gibraltar, Andorra, la zona portuguesa dins de la península Ibèrica, regions de França que limiten amb l'Estat espanyol i diversos territoris del nord d'Àfrica (els que formaren part del Protectorat espanyol del Marroc, Ifni i el Sàhara Espanyol; a part del territori marroquí que limita amb Ceuta i Melilla). La seva programació es basa en informatius i programes, units pel fil argumental de l'actualitat, amb l'objectiu de fer el màxim nombre de programes en directe. Cette station de caractère généraliste propose des émissions de débats, des reportages, des bulletins d'information, des variétés et des programmes sportifs. Radio Nacional émet en modulation de fréquence (FM) et en modulation d'amplitude (AM) sur l'ensemble du territoire espagnol, et peut également être reçue à Gibraltar, dans le nord du Maroc, en Andorre, dans une partie du Portugal et dans le sud-ouest de la France. - Radio Nacional is a Spanish free-to-air radio station owned and operated by Radio Nacional de España (RNE), the radio division of state-owned public broadcaster Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE). It is the corporation's flagship radio station, and is known for broadcasting mainstream and generalist programming, including news bulletins, current affairs, sports and entertainment. It was launched on 19 January 1937 as Franco's official radio under the department of propaganda during the Spanish Civil War. The station was initially simply referred to as "Radio Nacional de España". It received other names, such as "RNE 1" from 1988 until 1999 and "Radio 1" from 1999 until 2008 when it adopted its current name "Radio Nacional". Its headquarters and main production center is in Casa de la Radio at Prado del Rey in Pozuelo de Alarcón. Although almost all its programming is in Spanish and is the same for all of Spain, RNE has territorial centers in every autonomous community and produces and broadcasts some local programming in regional variations in each of them, such as local news bulletins, in the corresponding co-official language. RNE는 보도 독점과 함께 프랑코 정권의 선전과 연설 "카우디요(Caudillo)", 군 행사 및 종교 축제를 방송하였다. 그 외에 라디오 드라마 등 다양한 내용도 방송하였다. 1965년에는 클래식 음악 방송인 « Segundo programa de RNE »(현 )가 개국하면서, 기존의 라디오 나시오날은 « Primer programa de RNE »이란 이름으로 바뀌었다. 검열은 1966년 (Manuel Fraga)가 언론에 대한 새로운 법안을 발표할때까지 엄격하게 유지되었다. 1975년 11월 프랑코의 죽음 이후 스페인의 민주화가 이루어지면서 다른 방송국의 RNE 뉴스 방송 의무 전송을 종료하였다. 1988년에서 1999년까지는 RNE 1, 1999년에서 2008년까지는 라디오 1(Radio 1)이라고 불렀다.
