- المواطنون التقدميون في أمريكا (بالإنجليزية: Progressive Citizens of America) هي منظمة سياسية أمريكية اشتراكية اجتماعية واشتراكية ديمقراطية شُكلت في ديسمبر 1946 دعت إلى السياسات التقدمية، وعملت مع كونغرس المنظمات الصناعية وزُعم أنها تتعامل مع الحزب الشيوعي الأمريكي، باعتبارها مقدمةً لتجسد عام 1948 للحزب التقدمي. أدت المنظمة أيضًا إلى تشكيل مجموعة مضادة تسمى الأمريكيون من أجل العمل الديمقراطي، التي تشكلت في يناير 1947 بآراء محلية تقدمية ولكن مع وجهات نظر للسياسة الخارجية مناهضة للشيوعية والتدخلية، ما أدى إلى انقسام الليبراليين وكاد يكلف هاري إس ترومان انتخابات الرئاسة في الولايات المتحدة عام 1948. حُلَّت المنظمة في عام 1948. - Progressive Citizens of America (PCA) was a social-democratic and democratic socialist American political organization formed in December 1946 that advocated progressive policies, which worked with the Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO) and allegedly the Communist Party USA (CPUSA), as a precursor to the 1948 incarnation of the Progressive Party. It also led to formation of a counter group called Americans for Democratic Action (ADA), formed in January 1947 with progressive domestic views but anti-communist and interventionist foreign policy views, that split liberals and nearly cost Harry S. Truman the 1948 US Presidential Election. The organization was dissolved in 1948. (en)
