- The Parthon de Von family is a Belgian noble family of French origin., Its members rose to prominent positions in administration, justice, and diplomacy. The family is documented since 1575 in the duchy of Châteauroux, where it acquired the land of Von in 1776., It later emigrated to Belgium following the July Revolution. An hereditary title of Knight was conceded to the family by King Leopold I in 1856. The current holder is (b. 1964) and heir apparent (b. 1996). (en)

La famille émigre en Belgique suite à la révolution de 1830, indisposée à servir le régime libéral de Louis-Philippe Ier. Un titre héréditaire de Chevalier est concédé à la famille par Léopold Ier de Belgique en 1856. Son titulaire actuel est François (°1964) et l'héritier apparent Gautier Parthon de Von (°1996). (fr)
