- Jako rozpis se při rallye označují poznámky o průběhu trati, které čte během závodu navigátor jezdci. Psaní rozpisu se začalo používat před první světovou válkou, rozšířilo se v šedesátých letech, kdy se stalo nutností pro zahraniční závodníky bez znalosti trati, ti tak mohli konkurovat domácím účastníkům. Rozpis vzniká v průběhu seznamovacích jízd. Při prvním průjezdu trati zpravidla diktuje jezdec rozpis spolujezdci, při druhém průjezdu se už role obrací a spolujezdec čte nadiktovaný rozpis a případně ho upravuje. Způsobů psaní poznámek do rozpisu existuje mnoho a záleží na dohodě řidiče s navigátorem. Zapisuje se poloměr a úhel . K tomu se nejčastěji používá systém o několika (nejčastěji devíti) stupních, ve kterém „levá 1“ znamená mírnou levou zatáčku a „pravá 9“ je prudká pravá zatáčka o 180 stupňů. Jiné posádky místo úhlu zatáčky do rozpisu zapisují pouze to, v jaké rychlosti se má zatáčka projíždět, popřípadě jaký má pilot zařadit. Kromě ostrosti zatáček se v rozpisu popisuje, zda je zatáčku vhodné řezat a kudy do ní najet. Dále se zapisují horizonty, rovinky, čemu se vyhnout nebo kde povrch trati nebezpečně klouže. (cs)

- Das Gebetbuch, auch Aufschrieb, englisch Pacenote, ist im Rallye-Sport ein Heft mit Aufzeichnungen über die Wertungsprüfungen (WP). Sie werden durch Erkundungsfahrten vor dem eigentlichen Wettbewerb erstellt. Bei einer Rallye führt man vorab eine Erkundungsfahrt über die Strecke durch und protokolliert diese. Der Fahrer diktiert dabei dem Copiloten besondere Merkmale der Strecke. Der Aufschrieb, der so erstellt wird, enthält Kenndaten über Ereignisse der Strecke, wie Verlauf und Länge von Streckenabschnitten, Kurvenradien und -verlauf, Sprungkuppen und Kompressionen (Täler), Belagbeschaffenheit und -wechsel, Licht-Schatten-Verhältnisse und Ähnliches. Zusätzlich erfasst er die Fahrdaten, beispielsweise mögliche Geschwindigkeiten, Schaltvorgänge, Bremswege und die Schwierigkeit der Stelle. Bei der Rallye selbst übermittelt der Beifahrer dem Fahrer diese Daten durch den in ununterbrochener Folge (daher der Name „Gebetbuch“), damit dieser vorbereitet ist und vorausschauend agieren kann. Das erste Gebetbuch wurde bei der Carrera Panamericana im November des Jahres 1952 von dem deutschen Rennfahrer Hans Klenk für seinen Fahrer Karl Kling eingesetzt – seinerzeit mit einem sensationellen Streckenrekord. Es handelt sich dabei um rein teaminterne Daten, die Aufschreibungs-Systeme sind recht unterschiedlich und werden auch als streng gehütete Geheimnisse erachtet. Das Wort Aufschrieb war im deutschsprachigen dann seit den 1960er-Jahren verbreitet, in der internationalen Sportsprache ist englisch Pacenote ‚Routennotiz‘ oder allgemein Roadbook üblich. Die Kommunikation anhand des Aufschriebs erfordert ein exzellentes Zusammenspiel der beiden Besatzungsmitglieder und macht den Rallyesport in diesem Sinne zu einer Teamsportart. Das Gebetbuch ist eine der Hauptaufgaben des Copiloten, die den Fahrer im Umfeld einer Rallye entlasten. Kurz vor dem Start kommen oftmals Schotterspione (auch Gravel Crews) zum Einsatz, welche die Strecke nochmals insbesondere hinsichtlich Schotter, Eis und Nässe kontrollieren und den Aufschrieb aktualisieren bzw. optimieren. - In rallying, pacenotes are a commonly used method of accurately describing a rallying route to be driven in extreme detail. As well as dictating the general route to be taken, in terms of turnings, junctions, etc., all notable features of the route which might affect the way it is driven at speed are included. These details include the distance between each feature, the degree and severity of bends, adverse camber, crests and hill jumpings, surface type and conditions, potholes, special instructions to the driver, etc. In order that the sheer quantity of detail is useful to a rally team, pacenotes are written in a tight shorthand which is read out loud by the navigator (usually called "co-driver") to the driver en route. A number of systems have been devised, and there is no one "standard" for pacenotes, but in practice a number of typical de facto standards are usually used. Other variations include the preferred language of the team, metric or imperial measurements, etc. Pacenotes for a typical world-class rally stage might run to many pages, and the road book for the event might be several thick bound volumes. On some events, the organisers provide an official set of pacenotes, and often the rules ban reconnaissance (recce), meaning these notes are the only ones to be used. Other events permit crews to use any notes, either supplied to them by others or those they have compiled themselves. Compilation of notes requires access to the course ahead of the event, which is not always possible. (en)
- Il radar, o road book, è un libretto rilegato che indica, in forma grafica, la strada da percorrere ai concorrenti di un rally. Viene distribuito dagli organizzatori della gara il primo giorno utile delle ricognizioni autorizzate. All'interno del radar vengono date tutte le informazioni necessarie per raggiungere le prove cronometrate, con la specifica delle distanze da percorrere, la distanza percorsa, i vari riferimenti, la distanza rimanente. Vengono riportati anche le medie orarie da tenere ed eventuali avvertenze. Si tratta dello strumento con cui il navigatore, dopo averlo completato con i suoi appunti in fase di ricognizione, riesce a comunicare al suo pilota le giuste istruzioni per la condotta dell'autovettura in gara.
