- The Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP) is the standard camouflage pattern of the British Armed Forces. As part of the British Ministry of Defence's (MOD) Personal Equipment and Common Operational Clothing (PECOC) programme, three new camouflage patterns were considered for issue to British forces. These were a revised temperate Disruptive Pattern Material (DPM) using lighter colours, a new three-colour desert pattern with enhanced utility for night-time operations, and a hybrid four colour scheme using two colours from each of the previous patterns for use on webbing in all terrains. - Il Multi-Terrain Pattern o MTP è uno schema mimetico utilizzato principalmente dalle Forze armate britanniche. Come previsto dal programma PECOC (Personal Equipment and Common Operational Clothing) del Ministero della Difesa britannico, tre schemi mimetici sono stati valutati per essere dati in dotazione alle Forze armate. Questi erano una versione rivisitata del DPM con colori più chiari, un nuovo schema desertico a tre colori ottimizzato per le operazioni notturne, e uno schema ibrido a quattro colori creato utilizzando due colori per ciascuna delle due precedenti mimetiche al fine di agevolare la mimetizzazione su ogni tipo di terreno.Il Ministero della Difesa del Regno Unito annunciò che le truppe britanniche sarebbero state rifornite con le nuove uniformi per le operazioni in Afghanistan; a partire dal marzo 2010 esse sono state adottate dal personale impiegato nell', estese poi dal 2011 a tutte le Forze armate con l'intento di sostituire tutte le varianti in mimetica DPM dell'uniforme Combat Soldier 95 entro il 2013.
