- الطب في عصر النهضة أو النهضة الطبية هي الفترة بين الأعوام 1400 و1700 والتي شهدت فيها أوروبا تقدمًا في المعرفة الطبية وتجدد فيها الاهتمام بالعلوم الإغريقية والرومانية. كانت النهضة الطبية، منذ حوالي 1400 حتى 1700 للميلاد، فترة تقدم في المعرفة الطبية الأوروبية. تخللها اهتمام متجدد بأفكار الحضارات اليونانية والرومانية القديمة والطب العربي والفارسي، بعد ترجمة العديد من الأعمال إلى اللاتينية. يُعزى تمهيد الطريق للطب الحديث إلى الاكتشافات الطبية التي حدثت خلال عصر النهضة. - The Medical Renaissance, from around 1400 to 1700 CE, was a period of progress in European medical knowledge, with renewed interest in the ideas of the ancient Greek and Roman civilizations along with Arabic-Persian medicine, following the translation into Latin of many works from these societies. Medical discoveries during the Medical Renaissance are credited with paving the way for modern medicine. (en)
- La medicina rinascimentale dovette misurarsi con le molte epidemie che decimavano la popolazione europea fino alla fine del Medioevo e oltre, a Rinascimento inoltrato: peste, lebbra e tubercolosi sono gli esempi più noti. Ve ne furono però molte altre: la sifilide, la scabbia, il carbonchio, il tifo. Alcuni fatti segnarono la medicina, a partire da quel periodo. (it)
