Se conocieron en un club nocturno en Londres y decidieron formar el proyecto musical Masterboy , ya que su primer sencillo fue Shake up the dance en 1989. Los cantantes que participaron en el proyecto fueron Trixi Delgado (1993 - 1996 y 2002 - ...), (1996-1999) y Annabell Krischak conocida como (1999-2002). Actualmente Masterboy se encuentran activos, presentándose en diferentes ciudades de Alemania y algunos otros países de Europa en una serie de conciertos junto a otros iconos de los 90's como vengaboys, Culture Beat, Fun Factory, entre otros, Eventos que han sido todo un éxito gracias a los reencuentros de agrupaciones y proyectos del Eurodance de los noventa que se han hecho muy populares desde 2014. Ils sont l'un des groupes les plus représentatifs du phénomène eurodance. Les chansons les plus célèbres de Masterboy sont : Everybody Needs Somebody, Generation of Love, I Got to Give it Up, Feel The Heat of The Night et Is This The Love. Le succès de Masterboy est tombé quand la chanteuse charismatique Trixi Delgado a quitté le groupe en 1996. De nouvelles chanteuses, et , prendront la suite mais sans toutefois avoir le même succès que du temps de Trixi. Parallèlement à leur succès, le groupe Masterboy a participé au projet eurodance (composé de reprises de titres italo-disco telles que Living on video de Trans-X, Happy Station de ou Passion de ), à l'album de Ice MC Dreadatour, ainsi qu'à des remixes pour Ann Lee, 2 times ou Save Me. Aujourd'hui, continue à animer beaucoup de rave parties en Allemagne en utilisant le nom de Masterboy. Depuis 2001, Tommy Schleh (alias DJ Klubbingman, résident du fameux à Sinsheim) tente de faire renaître le groupe avec Trixi Delgado. Le single (We Call It) Revolution a eu un certain succès[réf. nécessaire]. Fin 2010, Tommy Schleh, Trixi Delgado et Enrico Zabler se retrouvent au studio "Sound Factory Tonstudio" et annoncent sur internet le retour de Masterboy, avec de nouveaux titres et un album prévus pour le début de l'année 2012. A banda esteve no Brasil em 1995, no Close-Up Dance Festival. Em 1996 mudaram de vocalista para Linda Rocco e em 1999 para Anabel Kay. A partir de 2000 o grupo desacelerou suas atividades até paralisar completamente suas apresentações. Em 2013, a banda se reuniu com o trio original e tem animado festivais de anos 90 em toda Europa.
