- ماريا باربارا كاريّو (بالإسبانية: Maria Barbara Carillo) ـ (جيّان، 1625 ـ مدريد، 18 مايو 1721) هي امرأة إسبانية أُعدمت حرقًا بتهمة الهرطقة إبان عصر محاكم التفتيش الإسبانية، وهي الأكبر سنًا بين جميع من أُعدموا بإيعاز من ديوان التحقيق؛ إذ كان عمرها عند إعدامها يتراوح ما بين الخامسة والتسعين والسادسة والتسعين. كانت كاريّو واحدة من آلاف من اليهود الذين عُمّدوا قسرًا، وقد حُكم عليها بالإعدام بتهمة الهرطقة لارتدادها إلى اليهودية؛ إذ اتُّهمت بممارسة طقوس الديانة اليهودية سرًا. - Maria Barbara Carillo (Jaén, Spain, 1625 – Madrid, 18 May 1721) was burned at the stake for heresy during the Spanish Inquisition. She was executed at the age of 95 or 96 and is the oldest person known to have been executed at the instigation of the Spanish Inquisition. Carillo was sentenced to death for heresy for returning to her faith in Judaism. She belonged to a large group of people that were Jews baptized by compulsion, who were accused of secretly practicing the Jewish religion. (en)

Tra le vittime conosciute dell'Inquisizione ella era la più anziana, dato che aveva ben novantasei anni quando subì il supplizio: partendo dalla data della sua morte, il 1721, è possibile identificare il suo anno di nascita, il 1625. Carillo è stata condannata a morte per eresia a causa della sua conversione al giudaismo: l'arzilla signora in realtà apparteneva a un grande gruppo di ebrei che, dopo esser stati forzatamente battezzati, furono accusati di praticare segretamente la religione ebraica.
