- Le GNV Cristal est un ferry de la compagnie italienne Grandi Navi Veloci. Construit entre 1988 et 1989 aux chantiers ouest-allemands Schichau-Seebeckwerft de Bremerhaven pour la compagnie britannique Olau Line, il portait à l'origine le nom d‘Olau Hollandia. Mis en service en octobre 1989 entre le Royaume-Uni et les Pays-Bas, son exploitation sera toutefois interrompue en 1994 en raison de son coût trop élevé. Cédé la compagnie britannique P&O Ferries, il prend le nom de Pride of Le Havre et navigue à compter de mai 1994 entre le Royaume-Uni et la France. Vendu en 2005 à la compagnie italienne SNAV, il est exploité à partir de mai 2006 entre l'Italie continentale, la Sardaigne et la Sicile sous le nom de SNAV Sardegna. Transféré en 2011 au sein de la flotte de Grandi Navi Veloci à la suite du rachat de SNAV par le groupe MSC, sa propriété sera transférée à GNV en 2017, c'est à cette occasion qu'il est rebaptisé GNV Cristal. Il navigue principalement entre le continent italien et la Sicile. (fr)
