- Die Irische Katholische Bischofskonferenz (englisch Irish Catholic Bishops’ Conference, irisch Comhdháil Easpag Caitliceach Éireann) ist die offizielle Bischofskonferenz der römisch-katholischen Kirche auf der Insel Irland, der die Katholiken in der Republik Irland und in Nordirland angehören. Die Irische Bischofskonferenz ist Mitglied im Rat der europäischen Bischofskonferenzen (CCEE). Die Konferenzen werden vierteljährlich im nationalen katholischen Priesterseminar, dem in Maynooth, abgehalten. Die ansonsten autonomen Bischöfe nehmen während dieser Konferenzen die Gelegenheit zur Erörterung von seelsorgerlichen Fragen wahr und diskutieren die nationale politische Situation. Die Bischofskonferenz versteht sich nicht als eine autoritäre Versammlung, sie betrachtet sich mehr als Vermittler und Helfer in der Diözesanarbeit. (de)

The conference meets a number of times a year in Maynooth which is the location of St Patrick's College, Ireland's national seminary. While each bishop is autonomous in his own diocese, meetings of the conference give bishops a chance to discuss issues of mutual concern, or issues of national policy. (en)

La conférence est représentée, l’Irlande faisant partie de l’Union européenne, à la Commission des épiscopats de l’Union européenne (COMECE). Son président participe également au Conseil des conférences épiscopales d’Europe (CCEE), avec une petite quarantaine d’autres membres.
