- The International Cancer Genome Consortium (ICGC) is a voluntary scientific organization that provides a forum for collaboration among the world's leading cancer and genomic researchers. The ICGC was launched in 2008 to coordinate large-scale cancer genome studies in tumours from 50 cancer types and/or subtypes that are of main importance across the globe. Systematic studies of more than 25,000 cancer genomes at the genomic, epigenomic and transcriptomic levels will reveal the repertoire of oncogenic mutations, uncover traces of the mutagenic influences, define clinically relevant subtypes for prognosis and therapeutic management, and enable the development of new cancer therapies. The ICGC incorporates data from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and the Sanger Cancer Genome Project. Professor Andrew Biankin AO, Regius Professor and Director of the Wolfson Wohl Cancer Research Centre at the University of Glasgow has been Executive Director and Chairman from 2018. (en)

- Le Consortium international sur la génomique du cancer, ou International Cancer Genome Consortium (ICGC) en anglais, est une organisation scientifique qui fournit une collaboration entre les plus grands chercheurs mondiaux sur le cancer et la génomique. Le ICGC a débuté en 2008 pour coordonner des études à grande échelle du génome du cancer dans 50 types/sous-types de cancer qui ont une importance principale à travers le monde. Les études systématiques de plus de 25 000 génomes du cancer au niveau génomique, épigénomique et transcriptomique serviront à révéler le répertoire de mutations oncogènes, découvrir les mutations qui influencent le cancer, définir des sous-types cliniquement pertinents pour le pronostic et les thérapies et permettre le développement de nouvelles thérapies contre le cancer. The International Cancer Genome Consortium) – dobrowolna organizacja naukowa stanowiąca forum współpracy pomiędzy wiodącymi na świecie naukowcami zajmującymi się badaniem genomu raka. Konsorcjum zostało uruchomione w 2008 roku w celu koordynacji badań na dużą skalę genomu raka. Badania ponad 25 tys. nowotworowych genomów ujawniły repertuar onkogennych mutacji, odkryły ślady mutagennych wpływów, określiły klinicznie istotne podtypy dla rokowania i postępowania terapeutycznego i umożliwiły rozwój nowych terapii nowotworowych.
