- Hotin County was a county (ținut is Middle Ages and Early Modern Period, județ after) in the Principality of Moldavia (1359–1812), the Governorate of Bessarabia (1812–1917), the Moldavian Democratic Republic (1917–1918), and the Kingdom of Romania (1918–1940, 1941–1944). Its capital was in the city of Hotin (today Khotyn). The territory of the county is currently divided between Ukraine (northern half) and Moldova (southern half). (en)
- Жудець Хотин (рум. Județul Hotin) — адміністративна одиниця Королівства Румунія у 1918-1940 роках. У 1919 на території жудецю відбулося Хотинське повстання. У 1938 жудець було включено до Сучавського цинуту. Внаслідок Бесарабсько-буковинського походу Червоної армії в липні 1940 Хотинський жудець приєднано до СРСР. Відтак його терени (за винятком Липканського і Бричанського районів) об'єднано з Північною Буковиною й утворено Чернівецьку область УРСР. У 1941 війська королівської Румунії (союзниці нацистської Німеччини) зайняли територію Чернівецької області. На території Буковини було утворено Губернаторство Буковина. Від 1944 на терені колишнього Хотинського жудецю відновлено стан 1940-1941 рр. (uk)
