- Hong Kong Open, oficiálně s názvem sponzora Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open, je profesionální tenisový turnaj žen hraný v čínském Hongkongu. Premiérový ročník ženské části se uskutečnil v roce 1980. Po odehrání tří ročníků došlo k prvnímu přerušení na období 1983–1992. Po čtvrtém ročníku 1993, jenž byl součástí kategorie Tier IV, následovala opět pauza až do sezóny 2014, kdy byl turnaj obnoven. Řadí se do kategorie WTA International. (cs)

Organised by the Hong Kong Tennis Association, the tournament is held annually in early October in Victoria Park, Causeway Bay on the WTA International tier. The Hong Kong Tennis Open was previously named the Salem Open that began in 1973 and discontinued in 2002. The current tournament resumed in September 2014 in Hong Kong. (en)

Le tournoi refait son apparition au calendrier WTA lors de la saison 2014 après plus de 10 ans d'absence puis disparait en saison 2019. - L'Hong Kong Open è stato un torneo di tennis cui campi in cemento di Hong Kong nell'ATP Tour dal 1973 al 2002. Nel 2003 è stato rimpiazzato dal Thailand Open. Un torneo femminile è stato giocato dal 1980 al 1982 e poi nel 1993 classificato nella categoria Tier IV, il torneo viene nuovamente disputato partire dal 2014 classificato come International. L'edizione del 2019 non è stata disputata a causa delle proteste nella città, mentre quella del 2020 non viene disputata a causa della pandemia di COVID-19. (it)
