- Η Εθνική Οδός 3 (ΕΟ3) είναι εθνική οδός της Ελλάδας που συνδέει το συνοριακό σταθμό της Νίκης στα σύνορα με τη Βόρεια Μακεδονία με την Ελευσίνα διασχίζοντας την ανατολική πλευρά της Δυτικής Μακεδονίας, τη δυτική Θεσσαλία και την ανατολική Στερεά Ελλάδα. Στο τμήμα του από τη Λάρισα μέχρι τη Λαμία και τη Θήβα αποτελούσε τον κύριο οδικό άξονα που συνέδεε την Θεσσαλονίκη με την Αθήνα, πριν την κατασκευή του Αυτοκινητοδρόμου 1. Στο μεγαλύτερο μέρος συμπίπτει με τους υπό κατασκευή Αυτοκινητόδρομο 3 στη Θεσσαλία, και Αυτοκινητόδρομο 27 στη Δυτική Μακεδονία.Αποτελεί τμήμα της Ευρωπαϊκής Οδού 65 (Ε65) στο τμήμα Λαμία - Συνοριακός σταθμός Νίκης και την Ευρωπαϊκή οδό 962 (Ε962) στο τμήμα Ελευσίνα - Θήβα. - Die Ethniki Odos 3/Εθνική Οδός 3 (griechisch für ‚Nationalstraße 3‘) ist eine Straße auf dem Festland von Griechenland, die von Norden an der mazedonischen Grenze (Niki) im Regionalbezirk Florina nach Süden zur Stadt Elefsina an der Küste des Saronischen Golfs im Westen von Athen verläuft. Sie ist eine wichtige Nord-Süd-Verbindung und hat eine Länge von ca. 500 km. Ein Abschnitt der Nationalstraße 3 von Kozani nach Ptolemaida ist als Autobahn 27 (A27) ausgebaut und entsprechend ausgeschildert, ein weiterer Teil der Nationalstraße 3 (Domokos-Lamia) wird durch die im Bau befindliche Autobahn 3 (A3) nach deren Fertigstellung ersetzt. - Greek National Road 3 (Greek: Εθνική Οδός 3, abbreviated as EO3) is a single carriageway road in Greece. It connects Elefsina near Athens with the border of North Macedonia at Niki. It passes through Larissa and Florina. At Niki, it connects with the M5K motorway to Bitola. The section Kozani - Niki is also designated as the A27 motorway, part of which is operational as a 2-lane motorway. Greek National Road 3 is one of the longest national roads in Greece and until the 1960s it served as the main route from Larissa to Thessaloniki. The new A1 motorway now offers a faster connection to Thessaloniki. Most of the EO3, except the southernmost section between Eleusis and Bralos, is part of the E65. (en)
