- حركة حرية إيران (FMI ،Nehzat-e Azadi-e Iran)، هي منظمة سياسية إيرانية تأسست عام 1961 على يد كلٍ من مهدي برزكان، و محمود طالقاني ، ويد الله سحابي، ومصطفى جرمان، وعلي شريعتي، وصادق قطب زاده، إلى جانب بعض الشخصيات الدينية والسياسية الأخرى. وقد استمرت تلك الجمعية، بالرغم من حظر النظام الإيراني لها قانونيًا. والقائد الحالي لها هو إبراهيم اليزدي الذي شغل هذا المنصب منذ عام 1995. وتُعَد حركة حرية إيران أحد الأطراف الرئيسية المشتركة في تحالف النشطاء الوطنيين الدينيين الإيرانيين (واسمه بالفارسية "ائتلاف نيروهاي ملي مذهبي إيران"). وقد كان موسى الصدر، كذلك، من المعاونين المقربين للحركة ولأعضائها المؤسسين. ويؤمن أعضاء هذه الحركة بأنهم ديمقراطيون، وليسوا ليبراليين. وذلك لأن الليبراليين يؤمنون بالرأسمالية، وحركة حرية إيران تناهض كلاً من الرأسمالية والشيوعية. - Die Iranische Freiheitsbewegung oder Bewegung zur Befreiung des Iran (persisch نهضت آزادی ايران Nehzat-e Azadi-e Iran, kurz NAI, englisch Freedom Movement of Iran, FMI, bekannt auch als englisch Liberation Movement of Iran, LMI) ist eine 1961 von Mehdi Bāzargān, Mahmud Taleghani, , Mostafa Tschamran, Ali Schariati, Sadegh Ghotbzadeh und anderen gegründete politische Organisation mit religiös-nationalistischer Ausrichtung. Als eine der ältesten noch zugelassenen Parteien wird sie als „Semi-Opposition“ oder „loyale Opposition“ zum derzeit herrschenden Regime betrachtet. Die Bewegung entstand als Abspaltung von der Nationalen Front, nachdem es zum Streit über die politische Ausrichtung und die Bedeutung des Islams als politische Weltanschauung kam. Die Iranische Freiheitsbewegung sah sich nicht nur in der Nachfolge von Mohammad Mossadegh, sondern betonte auch ihre islamische Ausrichtung. Mehdi Bāzargān erklärte: „Wir sehen Religion und Politik nicht getrennt und betrachten den Dienst für das Volk als einen Dienst an Gott.“ Bāzargān strebte ein politisches Bündnis zwischen den linken Nationalisten und den rechtsgerichteten politisch aktiven Geistlichen. - The Freedom Movement of Iran (FMI) or Liberation Movement of Iran (LMI; Persian: نهضت آزادی ايران, romanized: Nahżat-e āzādi-e Irān) is an Iranian pro-democracy political organization founded in 1961, by members describing themselves as "Muslims, Iranians, Constitutionalists and Mossadeghists". It is the oldest party still active in Iran and has been described as a "semi-opposition" or "loyal opposition" party. It has also been described as a "religious nationalist party". The organization was split to the National Front (II), its establishment was supported by Mohammad Mossadegh. It then applied for the membership in the front with a platform advocating national sovereignty, freedom of political activity and expression, social justice under Islam, respect for Iran's constitution, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the Charter of the United Nations. It believes in the separation of religion and state, while that political activity should be guided by religious values. FMI based on a moderate interpretation of Islam. It rejects both royal and clerical dictatorship in favor of political and economic liberalism. Despite being outlawed by the prevailing government in Iran, the group continues to exist. The organization accepts to comply with the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran despite its rejection for Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist. It had not been allowed to run in anyelection since 1980 (exempting 2003 local elections in which the Guardian Council did not vet the candidates). It was also denied membership in the House of Parties of Iran. The organization's members have close ties to the Council of Nationalist-Religious Activists of Iran. (en)
