Francesco Maria Brancaccio (15 April 1592, Canneto, near Bari - 9 January 1675) was an Italian cardinal. He was elevated to the rank of cardinal by Pope Urban VIII in his consistory of 28 November 1633. He became Bishop of Viterbo in 1638, then of Sabina, and finally of Frascati (1668-71). He attended the papal conclaves of 1667 and 1669, which elected popes Clement IX and Clement X respectively.

Nel 1642 gli fu dedicata la raccolta di musiche didattiche Solfeggiamenti et ricercari a due voci (Lodovico Grignani, Roma 1642) di Giovanni Gentile. Nel frontespizio della medesima raccolta è citato come «CARD. FRANCESCO MARIA / BRANCACCIO. / VESCOVO DI VITERBO». In appendice, si trova il canone a due voci «Cavato dalle lettere vocali del nome, e cognome / DELL'EMINENTISSIMO E REVERENDISSIMO / CARDINALE BRANCACCIO». (it)

Han var biskop av Capacca fra 1627, og var tilknyttet Den romerske kurie. Han ble kreert til kardinal den 28. november 1633 av pave Urban VIII. Han hadde et omfattende forfatterskap, blant annet en bok der han han forsvarte spising av sjokolade ettersom det etter hans vurdering ikke innebar noe brudd mot fasten. Han var onkel til kardinal Stefano Brancaccio .
