From 2013 to 2018, Lazarus was general counsel and chief strategy officer for the Tribune Corporation, following its exit from bankruptcy. Sioux Nation of Indians. Lazarus was a law clerk for Justice Harry Blackmun from 1988 to 1989. Lazarus graduated from Yale University in 1981 and Yale Law School in 1987. From 2004 to April 2009, he wrote a regular column for FindLaw, and he appeared as a guest expert on legal affairs for several television and radio stations, including The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
