- Dogs Playing Poker, by Cassius Marcellus Coolidge, refers collectively to an 1894 painting, a 1903 series of sixteen oil paintings commissioned by Brown & Bigelow to advertise cigars, and a 1910 painting. All eighteen paintings in the overall series feature anthropomorphized dogs, but the eleven in which dogs are seated around a card table have become well known in the United States as examples of kitsch art in home decoration. Depictions and reenactments of the series have appeared in many films, television shows, theater productions, and other popular culture art forms. Critic Annette Ferrara has described Dogs Playing Poker as "indelibly burned into ... the American collective-schlock subconscious ... through incessant reproduction on all manner of pop ephemera". The first painting, Coolidge's 1894 Poker Game, sold for $658,000 at a 2015 auction. (en)

- Psy grające w pokera (tytuł oryginalny: Dogs Playing Poker) – seria szesnastu obrazów olejnych autorstwa amerykańskiego malarza Cassiusa Marcellusa Coolidge’a, zamówionych w 1903 roku przez firmę Brown & Bigelow na potrzeby kampanii reklamowej cygar. Wszystkie obrazy z serii przedstawiają zantropomorfizowane postacie psów, jednak tylko dziewięć z nich, na których zwierzęta siedzą wokół stołu do gry w karty, zyskało powszechną rozpoznawalność w amerykańskiej kulturze. Ich sporej popularności cała seria malowideł Coolidge’a zawdzięcza tytuł. Do dziś funkcjonują one jako stereotypowy przykład słabego gustu w dekoracji wnętrz, dominującego głównie wśród klasy robotniczej. (pl)

Ao total, são 18 obras que mostram cães com atitudes humanas. Desses 18 quadros,11 exibem os cachorros jogando pôquer. As outras os mostram fumando cigarros, dançando, jogando beisebol ou testemunhando no tribunal. A série se tornou conhecida como exemplo de kitsch, sendo reproduzida em artigos de decoração e referenciada na cultura pop. O primeiro quadro da série, chamado Poker Game, foi pintado em 1894; a esse se seguiu uma série de dezesseis pinturas encomendadas pela empresa Brown and Bigelow em 1903 para anunciar charutos, e mais um quadro em 1910.
