- Eine Determinansphrase (DP) ist in neueren Versionen der Generativen Grammatik eine Phrase, deren Kopf ein Determinans (Determinierer, Determinativ) „DET“ ist. Einer der Vertreter der Determinansphrase ist Abney. Nach ihm bildet die Kombination Artikel (+ Adjektiv) + Nomen bzw. ein alleinstehendes Pronomen eine Determinansphrase. Danach ist zum Beispiel eine Phrase wie die kleine Puppe als Ganzes keine Nominalphrase (NP), bestehend aus einem Artikel (die), einem Adjektiv (kleine) und einem Kopfnomen (Puppe), sondern stellt eine Determinansphrase (DP) dar, die in ein Determinans (D) als Kopf und eine Nominalphrase (NP) als Komplement zu zergliedern ist: [DP [D die] [NP kleine Puppe]] Ein Personalpronomen wie ich würde dann analysiert als: [DP [D ich]] (de)
- In linguistics, a determiner phrase (DP) is a type of phrase headed by a determiner such as many. Controversially, many approaches, take a phrase like not very many apples to be a DP, headed, in this case, by the determiner many. This is called the DP analysis or the DP hypothesis. Others reject this analysis in favor of the more traditional NP (noun phrase or nominal phrase) analysis where apples would be the head of the phrase in which the DP not very many is merely a dependent. Thus, there are competing analyses concerning heads and dependents in nominal groups. The DP analysis developed in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and it is the majority view in generative grammar today. In the example determiner phrases below, the determiners are in boldface:
* a little dog, the little dogs (indefinite or definite articles)
* my little dog, your little dogs (possessives)
* this little dog, those little dogs (demonstratives)
* every little dog, each little dog, no dog (quantifiers) (en)
- En sintaxis, un sintagma determinante es un tipo de sintagma en el que el núcleo sintáctico es un determinante. En el análisis moderno muchos sintagmas considerados previamente como con agua sabe bienhechos previamente inexplicados de la estructura sintáctica. Por ejemplo, en la frase el niño pequeño, el núcleo del sintagma determinante es el, siendo el sintagma nominal niño pequeño su complemento. En la interpretación estándar del sintagma determinante, el sintagma nominal es un complemento sintáctico del determinante. Esto contrasta con el análisis de la gramática tradicional donde se considera que el núcleo de muchos argumentos verbales encabezados por un determinante es el nombre. En el análisis del sintagma determinante, es el determinante el que es el núcleo de dicho sintagma. La mayor parte de los lingüistas generativistas incorporan este análisis de una manera u otra. (es)
