- Řada V 180 DR (od roku 1970 přeznačená na ř. 118, u jako ř. 228) byla největší motorovou lokomotivou vyráběnou v Německé demokratické republice. Byla vyráběna v lokomotivce , dříve Orenstein & Koppel, v Postupimi – Babelsbergu. Německé říšské dráhy (DR) chtěly touto lokomotivou především nahradit parní lokomotivy. (cs)

The manufacturer was Lokomotivbau Karl Marx Babelsberg (LKM).
