- El DFS 331 era un prototipus de planador de transport de tropes alemany desenvolupat conjuntament entre DFS i Gotha. El planador va ser dissenyat pel Dr Hans Jacob, qui havia treballat en l'anterior DFS 230. Previst com a transport mitjà, estava dirigit a diversos dels objectius previstos per al DFS 230. - The DFS 331 was a transport glider prototype developed in a collaboration between DFS and Gotha. It was a twenty-seat troop transport designed by Hans Jacobs, who had previously produced the successful, nine seat DFS 230. The visibility from the cockpit was good, with the entire nose being glazed, and the body was very wide, allowing it to carry light Flak guns and small military vehicles. A single prototype was built and flown in 1941. The project was passed over in favour of the Gotha Go 242. (en)

- DFS 331 var ett lastglidflygplan som tillverkades i ett prototypexemlplar. DFS 331 konstruerades i samarbete mellan DFS och Gotha. Ansvarig för konstruktionen var vid DFS som tidigare konstruerat transportglidaren DFS 230. Transportglidaren var tänkt att sättas in i målområden som låg 30–70 kilometer från startplatsen. Vid konstruktionsarbetet kunde mycket av konstruktionen från den tidigare DFS 230, flygplanskroppen förlängdes och breddades för att ge plats för en Flak-kanon eller ett lätt militärfordon. Eftersom nästan hela fronten var inglasad och flygplanet var högvingat blev sikten för piloterna mycket god. Vid flygutprovningen 1941 visade det sig att Gotha Go 242s prestanda var bättre, och tillverkningen upphörde efter ett prototypexemplar. (sv)
